i had only one problem with this game on ps3. yes i loved the tactics and everything. but people say that games aren't about graphics, i don't think yo ucan truly get into this game without great graphics because it gets less real. also when healing someone you just hold a box to them, they should have some sort of animation or something. it all feels blocky but in the end it's a fun game.

Very real it has bullet drop wind and a spotter I can see a cod player playing this he would miss every shot not knowing what bullet frop and wind derection is....If any cod player plays this youll know how to really snipe Like the real army does, your bullet does go right where you aim you know...
In my opinion Dragon Rising is sooo much better than red river still, Red River Sucks don't buy it! there is no pvp multiplayer, you can't fly or drive anything besides a humvee and there is less freedom when you do the missions. BUY DRAGON RISING INSTEAD!

@maciejwrotek it's on a much larger scale in terms of map/terrain, player count, and just the military tools available to you. This is a bit lackluster and restricted since it was released to support consoles. Plus there are a bunch of servers that have scripted events for if you're into really "hardcore" simulation

I understand that after all these years an entertaining yet too arcade game can turn off people, but I think the balance is more to find in things like BiA than in tactical shooters (ArmA and Co.). @angerfistbest It's the ultimate game if you love realism. If you don't like TOO much realism, then this ain't for you. However, if you actually understand the controls and map making scenarios to make 1500 vs 1500 ai maps, then yes, this game is for you. Ultra realism though. Still awesome.

@F0RG0TT3IV dude you're a fucking moron its not just one bullet. there have been cases many times of people being mortally wounded, and still fighting, but eventually dying because of their wounds. there is much debate over whether or not the .223 round can effectively stop an enemy combatant. its most definetly not certain that only one bullet will stop you( kill you or paralyze you). unless, that is, you've been shot directly in the head. go back to MW2, silly.
whats really interesting, is that sometimes if you hit them in the head with a strong enough weapon, and go up and look at them, their is actually a huge hole in the side of their head XD
What I hate, on single player most mission are based on time (clock is ticking), because of that, the huge map is worth prety much nothing. Multiplayer is a huge let down, only 4 peoples vs 4 peoples, we each have our AI twat with us. If only they had drop the AI teamates and put more peoples in it, it would have been better. I ike, best mission are those without time limit, you can profit from evrything the game has to offer wich is prety much the best fun I had in a long time with a shooter

is it worth getting this game? because its now only €12,- in my country but there are in this period of time so many games low priced u know.. anyone thinks its a good idea to get this game for €12 ?

@angerfistbest It's the ultimate game if you love realism. If you don't like TOO much realism, then this ain't for you. However, if you actually understand the controls and map making scenarios to make 1500 vs 1500 ai maps, then yes, this game is for you. Ultra realism though. Still awesome.

is it just me, or does the sniper combat look not at all that interesting. wow the .50 bmg barret who the fuck hasn't seen that enough times. its like a fucking requirement that all games have that. why not use something more stylish or rare like an integrally suppressed bolt action? of course probably not your typical military weapon, but im sick of seeing the stupid barret in every game.

@F0RG0TT3IV dude you're a fucking moron its not just one bullet. there have been cases many times of people being mortally wounded, and still fighting, but eventually dying because of their wounds. there is much debate over whether or not the .223 round can effectively stop an enemy combatant. its most definetly not certain that only one bullet will stop you( kill you or paralyze you). unless, that is, you've been shot directly in the head. go back to MW2, silly.

What I hate, on single player most mission are based on time (clock is ticking), because of that, the huge map is worth prety much nothing. Multiplayer is a huge let down, only 4 peoples vs 4 peoples, we each have our AI twat with us. If only they had drop the AI teamates and put more peoples in it, it would have been better. I ike, best mission are those without time limit, you can profit from evrything the game has to offer wich is prety much the best fun I had in a long time with a shooter

I like Mw2, its more of a CQC fast paced game. Although the noob tube can get irritating, but still a good game. Battlefield badcompany 2 is an even better game. big maps, Have to time sniper shots from the distance, etc etc. more options then mw2. I got both games, I like them both, but i play BFBC2 more then MW2

MW2 is arcade...OK people we get it, you just stated the obvious. It was designed that way, to be arcade. Thats no reason to call it a fail. Its a fail in your minds because you dont like that game. Well thats fine to say "I don't like MW2" but calling it a fail is just you failing. It sold in the millions and is one of the most played games ever made. You would have to be incredibly stupid to call that a fail. Now, I play this game more then MW2, but i still play MW2 for the fun of it.
