Just a word of advice from a fan, who has played competitive hockey too. When somebody says a goal is a "garbage goal," it makes them sound ignorant. A goal is a goal, and if you think somehow that a goal that is deflected or a rebound doesn't mean as much as other goals, then just look at how differently they count on the score board.

And so you know, a good player, looks to deflect a shot and knows where best to be for a rebound. It's called being a smart hockey player. Take notes.

. Detroit dominated every facet of the series and deserved to bring the Cup back to "hockey town". One thing that was really classless though was the reaction of Pittsburgh fans to Zetterberg winning the Conn Smythe. Easily the most tasteless act of the NHL season. Red Wings though will have a good chance at repeating next year as the core of the team will not change and Datsyuk, Zetterberg and company will only get better. Go Wings!
