Would you give us the honor of posting an instructional on this? That would be amazing. Keep of the spectacular work. I enjoy the song even more now. Thank you.
This is a wonderful approach to a pop ballad. Stylistically distinctive, with artistic integrity and substance. This appears to be a "zone" for you, and I really like it! *****
It was very well played, but to be honest I did't like your interpretation. In my opinion..this is suppose to be a sad song...very very sad...and you kind of had a happy go lucky vibe going there...I dunno, just my opinion
You're right: it's just your opinion. Music is not "supposed to be" When you're a musician, if you can find something about a tune that touches your heart, you will express those aspects that make it so valuable to you. To you, the lyrics may tell you it's a sad song (to me it's redemtion), but the music itself might say a lot more. To me it's just wonderful that we can listen to a different interpretation, so we can stop being limited by how we think things "should be."
Awesome! A friend of mine introduced me to Wayne Thompson, a co-author of this song, and he was a really nice guy that I enjoyed chatting with. He was so modest about his talent that i had to drag out who he had played with. Sadly he passed a few years ago so I am glad his music lives on.
Greetings from The Bahamas! This is one of my favorites ballads, being a muscian myself, I can honestly say you did the song justice. From what I see, you plan to do a CD, I look forward to purchasing a copy
7: Super as always. I know you have a gospel side and this piece has a very strong flavor of that seasoning the ballad. Count me as among the "waiters" for the CD issue- great playing is always on my mind.
Great interpretation. Played with depth and conviction that very few are able to achieve. Sound quality is on par with the best studio quality recordings.

Mr.7notemode,
Your performance does touch the listener's soul. I was listening it all afternoon and could not stop today.
And, I feel that your performance contains classical music styles. This make your performance so unique and elegant.

Sir, this a very good rendition, thank you for that. It sounds like Bach (Gould fan?) Not naive at all but very clear at the same time. Bravo

Well played, but I think this is an improvisation based on that classic tune. It would be nice to play it as is.

Thanks cc17201. I don't really think of it in terms of how many parts I'm playing. I try to create counter melodies and walk between chord changes.
