Hey, I visited Hubbardton this year since I go to VT every year [camping at Lake St. Catherine] and I LOVED this place. I'm a HUGE historian and even got a book from here. It was a great day trip, and they were talking about it there so I decided to watch it [since I missed it in VT]

I love the reenactments at Hubbardton! This is one of my favorite places to go. Hopefully you can make it out to the 2009 event, its truly a wonderful thing to see in person!

Really? When is it in 2009? [cause I would definately go] Im only in VT for 5 days this year in August

They always hold it the weekend nearest to July 4th, not sure if they will pick that this year or not, since July 4th is a big parade day for most regiments, if they dont pick that weekend I am sure it would be the weekend after. Sadly not in August. :( Maybe you can come a little early! :)

I visited only Bennington Battlefield this year because I didn't realize Hubbardton was closed on Mondays. But oh, well. But anyway, let me say Hubbardton was much nicer and a better trip than down there in Bennington!
