  • Merkur was a fine driving car; it's a shame that it has taken Ford so long to bring its European models to America, for they've got some nice products.....

  • holy shit telescoping steering wheel, i think ill make myself comfortable. SOLD

  • it's interesting how cars were not that much cheaper so long ago. i guess income hasn't risen much in many years.

  • @niradg something to note is that in 1988, the Merkur scorpio was THE most expensive ford/lincon/mercury offering, surpassing the price of even high end lincons

  • I had one of these. Someone broke into it and sprayed D I A R R H E A all over the interior. The insurance company totaled it as no body shop would even come close to that shitty car. :-)

  • Tim Allen?! That car needs MORE POWER ARR ARR ARR! :P

  • @CDTbossy He does voiceovers for Chevrolet now actually LOL. And Campbells Soup and Michigan Tourism

  • @CDTbossy No way! Tim Allen co-owned a race team with Steve Saleen racing Saleen Mustangs. He was a die-hard Ford guy.
