BMW and Hond both are nice cars. The hondas have cheap build quality but have fantastic high revving engines that turn grannies into schumakker. The bmw m3 is an awsome machine hands down. It has comfort as well as power and noise. I have owned over 15 type r's and vti's in the past 3 years. I have owned one bmw 530d. The BMW was better all round honestly. However honda are fun cars and are very reliable. So stop fighting between the two and accept that both are good in their own way

Nobody is denying that in order to have a fast honda to compete with better cars some modifications are necessary. However because of the abundance and economy of them it is done at a much cheaper cost than the BMW. Another thing is the light weight of hondas directly contribute to their handling. Again suspension upgrade.

Naw, all bmws are built on performance. This one doesn't have incredible horse power but there made to perform. There handling is supreme which is what enables us to win when we race. Its no weak car. I have a 325i from 2002, if you compare it to a civic si sedan, the civic which is 08 keep in mind has 10 more hp and 0-60 in 6.8. My car is 0-60 in 7.2 and its 6 years old... Plus the automatic atleast has steptronic.

Yeah dude your gonna love it, trust me I love my car and its my first. Bought with my own money too, which makes it even worth more to me. Yeah bimmers are comfy and a load of fun to drive. Im in the process of saving up for an '02 m3 and hoping to get in 2-3 years but for now the 325i does it for me. Is there a reason you want the 318i? The 328i and 323i for that year produce more horsepower just as a heads up.

Oh gotcha dude, yef def it you cant your dad to buy it. I had the luck of having a well paying job at 16 and by 17 I was able to by my first bmw right after I graduated HS. Yeah its fun riding around and older people giving you looks like how the hell did that kid get that car. Only thing that sucks with bimmers is that theyre are expensive to repair but on a second note very reliable and the only thing Ive had to repair mechanically was the drive belts. Naw, all bmws are built on performance. This one doesn't have incredible horse power but there made to perform. There handling is supreme which is what enables us to win when we race. Its no weak car. I have a 325i from 2002, if you compare it to a civic si sedan, the civic which is 08 keep in mind has 10 more hp and 0-60 in 6.8. My car is 0-60 in 7.2 and its 6 years old... Plus the automatic atleast has steptronic.

idk how much your 353I has, but i raced my friends 93 525I 5 speed with my 240sx (2.4L) and i only had a catback, i raped him once i hit 2nd gear, he allso has a head start. Mycar 150hp max his 180 . And around turn my car would for sure out perform his bmw. Now Im not saing civc's r fast their quick and if built right faster than you think. I know about the mechanics a little. Honda makes the best engines according to the weight hp ratio. There is no BMW with 1.6 displacement producing 160hp, for instance. The complexity and engineering is near to perfect in Honda engines. They produce every type of internal combustion engine imaginable including Honda Jet engines and Lawnmowers. As an ultimate driving machine maker, BMW could work harder and produce lighther, more technological engines.
