@elainefarytaile who gives a fuck that you're 14!!! I hate when ppl just state their age as if it were relevant in any sort of way!! Just shut the fuck up and enjoy the music!
I really, really REALLY wish I'd been around in the 70's.....CCR is probably my favorite band, they blow my mind with every song........this music has soul and attitude absent in 99% of today's music
@Zurcness So true..... But Nam wouldnt have been too cool... And I guess most people where very conservative back then. But the attitude and the feeling from that era's music is far beyond todays music.
Good morning, do you like sixties? Listen and pod cast my program " great sound of 60' s " on the site plumfm. Greeting and made blooper in rock and roll.
Salut, vous aimez les sixties ? Ecoutez et podcatez mon émission "le super son des sixties" sur plum fm. Salut et faites gaffe au rock'n roll.
I love CCR. I always thought they were underrated, even though they had lots of hits. They are a little forgotten now, probably because they didn't have a compelling star front-man, or a hot girl singer. (If only they coulda found themselves some former Mousekettiere...) But they were freakin' good.
@briteness - CCR Underrated? Didn't have a star front man? Well, I wouldn't say that! They only had a certain John Fogerty, one of the all time legends, as their leader. I saw this guy live last year at 65 years of age and he still makes any current musician look an amatuer. CCR are certainly not underrated. It's just that today's generation have been uneducated when it comes to understanding music and such greats have been forgotten to only a few of us who still keep the old flame alive.
@JGBugs He is still fantastic. But he never really seemed like a star to me. He seemed less assuming than that, although I know he ran the band with tight control. But I see your point. They had many big hits, they were not all that underrated.
Just freakin' awesome; esp. the last 20 seconds or so when you got Cook (drummer) and Fogerty right on top of each other in the camera. Nothing like that ever again.
Time. Dimensions. Light. Knowledge. I am myself, but awoke to a different world. Thanks for the tunes man! I'd like to invite yall to come check out "Nightmare on Blog Street" a poem I wrote to infect the sane.
RSPWNZ007 they haven't done a concert in a long time... they have been broken up for over 30years! Tom Fogerty (John's brother) died in 1990, and Stu and Doug hate John and he hates them. they will never perform together as a band. John refused to play with them at RR Hall of Fame and they said who cares they never intended to play for him anyway. there's a lot of hate there, a lot of hate.
i heard the guy didn't even go to his brothers funeral! That's very cold -it makes me wonder how can a guy paint Tom Sawyer sceneries with lyrics and yet don't have a child's heart
Ok people I'll go get drunk to this music, see ya!
