the eldar were created by the old ones and so were the necrontyr which were corrupted by the present necron gods.

@wigster600 Necrontyr were not.They found and talked to the old ones at some point but evolved on their own. They were never corrupted. They found the c'tan (necron star gods) and told them to kill the old ones because they were jealous of their immortality. The old ones did create the eldar, orks, jokaero, knib, hrud and others.

@mason130496 Hehe yeah ;) I like 40k to but i just think its going downhill. They intend to be a bit cheaper (in my gameshop atleast) and i find it more intresting while 40k is just full of fluff. Another thing is that they don´t really have a favorite army from gamework shop like in 40k most likely space marines and sometime imperial guard get so much love from then while other races like necrons wont even get a new codex while space marines get like 5 for their chapters. Not much in fantasy.

@Ork4life In fantasy they are all right, but in 40 k their crude technology and their stupid dialect limits them too much to the funny relief part of the grim millenium. Nothing bad about funny, but not-funny must be a possibility.

@warhammer40kiss I one time just massacred an orgre unit that charged my night gobbo spearmen when my fanatics killed half, sent them running and killed more. There was only one ogre remaining who was killed by my spider men.PLUS, omg my 10 squig hoppers lead by a NG big boss on gaint squig killed like 30 tomb kings archers last game(i lost the game cause the rest of my army ate it hardcore.)

@princeMigi What do you mean by that. Basically fantasy orc and warhammer 40k orks share the same kind of back story. The real difference being orks in warhammer 40k were deliberately made to battle the necrons. There is no evolution in orcs unless you count the black orcs. And even then the actual way black orcs are made is still somewhat unkown. Only that they came from the Chaos dwarfs domain.

@ExtremeFaggotry Well since GW have said that the Fantasy and 40k universes are now seperate, any ties to being "created" like the 40K Orks doesn't really matter.

According to what the guys says just after the time I indicated they were either "created by aliens/really old guys" or "floated through space." Surely the spores could have just evolved over a long period of time to become Orks, just like humans evolved to be humans, Dwarves evolved to be Dwarves etc.

@princeMigi I know that the universes are separate. But they keep many similarities. The emperor/Chaos gods and so on. He gets most of his information from the lexicanum. And the lexicanum lacks some information on the fantasy side. Almost all of the races were there from the days of the old gods. Orcs included. Not the primitive orcs since all orcs are primitive but orcs as we know them. Dwarves didn't evolve they too were made that way.
