You know your HP cap is exceeded for Alucard if you beat Dracula without taking dmg as Richter? If I keep screwing up (wich I often do near the end...), I just jump in and out of the stairs around 0:06 to collect enough hearts for 3 Hydrostorms.

Meh, thats one thing I didn't like about PoR Richter, he only had the item crash Grand Cross.. that one is awsome too, but they shouldve had all of them. The controls for Richter is superior to the SotN controls though.

The japanese version is by far superior to any english version. Even Death's voice, that some may criticise, is bette in my opinion, because he sounds like an older man - the way he should, as a Shinigami.

i have this version in my psp , you can actualy load your save file from the japanese version of sotn in to this version and you will have the text in english rather that on japanese .

it's a japanese game. by the time it got to e3 only english was translated txt. i can use my original retail saves w/ this e3 game.

This is just personal preference, but I think Death's English voice was a bit better. However, Alucard's Japanese voice is great! Thanks for putting this up.

I really don't know about those technical stuff. I guess it's a .bin file that tries to find a .cue file that is not there. Be sure to extract all the files that were in the rar. You can become a member in the forums , the guys there are really friendly , they can help you

How do u get this game going on the ePSXe Emulator i've got all the bios, plugins, etc...

And i've got the game in a ISO File, what shall i do please help me =)

Actually if you try to run it in ePSXe you can only get an inferior result than the original psx. Download THE pSX Emulator ,unofficially known as pSXfin. You don't need any plugins and almost none configuration. It tries to emulate the original PSX. The guys at the forum can help you also. Have fun ;)

@Lostprophetzzz I say it in the description. The pSX Emulator (google it).

pSX offers you graphics exactly like the original Playstation with minimum configuration and ePSXe improves the graphics but requires alot of configuration if you don't know what you are doing.

I don't have much experience with PCSX ( PCSXE doesn't exist, unless I am missing something). I tried PCSX-Reloaded which is a new version of it but still it is not as good as either pSX or ePSXe, in my opinion.

@Tiars666tiamat right... but it doesn't load BIN files and i don't know why but something always fucks up when i use the BIN to CDZ converter,

@Lostprophetzzz You don't have to use the CDZ converter, it only exists to save space without making the games into ZIPs which makes them unreadable.

Did you download a BIOS file? Google PSX BIOS Dragonball Arena. It's a site which has it there. Then put that file into the BIOS folder. You might also need to download a .dll file. Just google that specific file also and put it in the general pSX folder.

unless this is a Disc-only emulator in which case i'm fucked because i lost SOTN's disc YEARS ago.... :(

The E3 Version is rare version of SOTN that was shown probably in an E3 exhibition before the actual release. I'm not sure about the details. Anyway it's the only version I know that has the original Japanese audio but english subtitles and text

you just google the name "psx emulator" it will tell that a .dll file cannot be found google it also. you can get the bios from the dragonball arena website. then you can configure it and it is ready to play the game. you dont need any plugins of any kind and can play most games perfect

pSX Emulator uses no plugins. You can get the BIOS from dragonball arena or google psx bios. you will also need a dll file. The emulator will inform you about its name also google it, then just drop the library in the folder with the emulator and you are ready. Accuracy is really high and you will love it

I finished this Version. When you own the Japanese Retail Version you can use the SaveFile with it.

So just defeat the Werewolf & Minotour with the Japanese Retail game, save again and you can finish the game.

Same with the switch were the Ape Skeleton appear. Work fine with the Japanese Retail game.

With this trick you can escape the Catacombs too. So you can start the Special game and you have more HP and some Items.
