These smaller Wtc buildings were even a way more over engineered than the tower's, wich don't mean that the tower's collapsed by themselve! They were traditionally build, not as a tube with a bolted perimeter!

@isolatedfire you are wrong - this Building (WTC 5) was right next to the North Tower and WTC 7 was separated from the North Tower by Vessey Street (I think) AND WTC 6 - therefore Building 7 did not sustain nearly as much damage from the collapse of the North Tower as Building 5 did - in fact it barely had any significant fires...yet it collapsed at freefall and Building 5 didnt?? not buying it

Actually i think you are thinking about WTC 6. WTC 5 was much farther away from the towers and might have been salvageble if it weren't for the fires. Aswell as building 6 being like 9 stories while building 7 being 47 stories.

@isolatedfire Because, not only does it have less load to distribute over the building, but it didn't have a large piece of the North Tower shear through about 20 floors of the building.
