I love love it (excuse me : my English is very bad) It's beautiful and thanks very much to @ hildiguru for explain this song and origine of this song ... Takk ;-)
I wish I could "like" this 10 times. I had seen the part in which she sings, but I didn't realise that it was only part of something bigger. Thanks much!
@terrytezzbigtel It is a poem written by a women that lived in Iceland in the 1800's named Rósa that's why it is called Vísur Vatnsenda - Rósu. It is about a man named Páll Melsteð, or so people belive, that she worked for and she was in love with him. But he married a woman called Þóra and she opened one of the first schools in Reykjavík, Kvennaskólann í Reykjavík :) It is very sad.. reminds me of my uncle that died in a terrible accident
@terrytezzbigtel and she is singing about im she says in english your eyes and my eyes oh, them beautiful stones mine was yours and yours was mine you know what i mean its long time since I saw him truly beautiful was he all the grace that man can have most of it he had I have the most grief for you sad of tears flood oh, if we had never met lovely good friend something like that I try my best to translate, not very easy because this is alot of hard Icelandic words

Lag eftir Jón Leifs og vísa eftir Vatnsenda Rósu, sungið af Björk......fullkomin blanda:)
The song is written by Jón Leifs and the lyrics is written by Vantnsenda Rósa, sung by Björk.....just perfekt :)

Traditional Icelandic folk song. Bjork sings so beautifully and best really in her native language.
