Most of the time, if I am not going out, I pretty much just wear a little eyeliner, mascara, and powder foundation. I usually also have many 'makeup less' days where I wear nothing. Now that I have graduated from college, I have started experimenting with more eyeshadows/blush/primers. But I usually don't put it all on at once even if I am going out on the town. @L0ve4Cookies I'm 13, and I don't wear much makeup. You should start when you think your ready. When the day comes, put on a little lip gloss or mascara. Just don't go overboard. Build your makeup up day after day if you think it looks good. I think you should talk to your mom too. And tell her, you think your'e ready for this. I hope this advice comes to you in handy!

@L0ve4Cookies I didn't start wearing makeup til I was 15. Like you, I was against it. But when I talked to my ma about it, I agreed to starting off small- mascara, lip gloss, and lip stick. As I got older, I moved onto eyeshadows and eyeliner. I still don't use foundation(breaks me out), or blush much(my cheeks are naturally rosy). I usually use concealer to cover any blemises and pressed powder to set it. Other than that, I don't wear much. I suggest starting off small. :)

She said I can start right when I get to ninth grade, I'm in 7th. I think hte only thing I need is lip gloss, and mascara. My eyes look really small. @L0ve4Cookies I'm 20(about to be 21 in two weeks). Yeah, my eyes are small too. Mascara is always a must for me! My fave is ELF Mineral Infused Mascara which is $3 and can be found at Target. And to help my eyes look bigger, I use ELF Eye Widener in White on my lower waterline and the inner corners of my eyes. If you have good skin, don't ruin it by using foundation. Maybe a little concealer to cover blemishes or dark circles. Other than that, try to keep the makeup to a minimum. :)

@L0ve4Cookies this is the time in your life where you actually have the option of not needing to wear makeup. don't wear makeup until you feel the time is right for you. you have the rest of your life to apply makeup and the older you get, you won't have a choice. embrace your natural face for as long as you can. i didn't REALLY start wearing makeup until my junior year of college. before that, it was seriously maybe some lipgloss once in a while and obviously for like special occasions.
