I have sun moon and mercury in sagittarius.(taurus rising)

venus in capricorn

mars in scorpio

jupiter in cancer

saturn in capricorn

i was curious how my sun moon and mercury being in sag affects me.

ok i understand the idea behind astrology and i think its kinda cool but what i dont get is this. say 200 years from now people are colonizing mars would earth become the symbol for mars or would astrology be a moot point.or does earth stand for earth and if so what does earth (re)present in the whole scheme of things?.

If a person "A" has The Moon in Taurus, and the other person "B" has Saturn in Taurus, the issues here are much more pronounced. You might look and see where Cancer and Capricorn lay by house placement, that will give some insight on what the issues are about.

my jupiter is in gemini.. 2nd house..

and my moon is in aquarius.. 11th house..

they are'nt trine.. they are square.. if you go by the houses..

but by signs, they are trine..

which I think they go by houses.. because my sun is in virgo, but the 5th house.. and it shows that it is trine with both my saturn, and uranus.. which I have both saturn, and uranus in sagittarius.. 9th house..

I know that virgo, and sag. are'nt trine..

they are square.. but it was going by my houses..

Hi Brizzlestick, The houses reflect the latitude of the location, the further north the more unequal and distorted the houses become. Astrologers look at the "quality of the aspect. So, air to air is a trine as they share the same "sympathy." Virgo is an cold moist earth sign. . .Sagittarius is a warm moist fire sign. . .see the incompatibility?

Bloomin, It means that the fractile-like energy between the person and the general sky is either in-synch or not. If someone wants to achieve a goal, a trine makes it easier to think abou the process to achieve the goal

Starbright, Well, I do. . .but only with weather and financial sharts. The outer planets are global and have a small effect except our response to them is a personal way. If it's raining outside that's the outer planets acting, whether you decide to go out in the rain, and how you dress for the occasion, is the personal planets acting.

I'm confused about this. I don't quite understand how to figure it out.. how to regress the moon, although I think I understand the implications and how to read it. I'd like to read more about it. Can you recommend a book?

Whimsical, I'm not sure what the question is. . . regress means to move backwards. . ."Rogress" in my video is done by adding one degree to the moon's longitude for each six year period. So, if you wrer born with a 20 degree moon, at 18 years of age the moon would have rogressed to 23 degrees.

I have a moon in taurus which is in the 9th house. My biggest concern is that I have pluto, mars, and SATURN in the 2cd house. Does that mean money will be hard to come by?  I know that cancer and taurus are money signs and my Sun is in cancer will that balance out the 2cd house saturn at all?

Never ignore Pluto in your chart. I'd need to see the whole chart for a proper interpretation but, from what little you pointed out, it's clear you can be a little obsessed with money issues. A proper astrology consultation would help you cope with this so you don't stress over it, and make the best out of your chart as a whole. Your Sun in Cancer is further proof that you need to focus elsewhere.

I have moon in virgo in the 4th squared EXACTLY 90 degrees to Saturn AND Uranus in Saggitarius in the 6th. I have heard so many horror stories about an aspect like this. What exactly does it mean?

Hi Larry, Moon/Saturn is about abandonment issues, the feeling of loneliness, issues with friends. Uranus need not be involved. On the positive side one can assert themselves in a humorous way, often Saturn in Sagittarius brings out the spiritual side of an individual. Mercury and Jupiter are the anecdote.

Recently I have become aware of the Saturn conjunct moon (In any sign? plz Y/N) also represents mother issues. eg: my brother has Saturn conjunct moon in Taurus, I know he has massive mother issues (emotional abuse, emeshment). Yes, one thing: The faster planet ALWAYS is the planet that aspects the slower one; unless the slower planet is retrograde, then the BOTH are making a mutual aspect.

Moon and Saturn are about "self-control." As the Moon represents hunger, Saturn becomes the guidelines for dieting.

Likewise, any emotional issues must be brought under control or attempted to be useful in accomplishing goals. Generally, Moon Saturn issues as best seen in individual charts. (Cont.)

HI Hiccup, watch for the first aspect, any aspect the Moon makes and the last aspect. If no a planet is involved, then use the first aspect to an angle. Use the planet that rules the angle in question.

Hi Iri5h, Ptolemaic aspect only, the other, minor offbeat aspects aren't traditional. Yes, often there is only one planet, and, sometimes there are no planetary aspects, in that case we use the first aspect to an angle and use it's associate (ruler)

All house systems may apply but in this case I use the Equal house system. Fixed stars, conjunctions only within 1 degree

But if you only take the moons movement in the 24 hours, it only moves about 12°. And often there are many aspects at the same time if you use any kind of orbit.

Hi iri5, Yes, the Moon makes, on an average, a 12 degree sojourn through a sign in a 24-hr period.

I use a one degree orb which is equal to 9-week period in real time. The in-between aspects are emotional issues during the initial 72-year of the life span.

What does the phrase following sunset mean? Can you leave it out and just say the last 24 hours before the

person's bith ??

HI Iri5h, We are observing by longitude, the Moon's travel over the 24 hour period on the date you were born, starting on sunset before your birth to sunset the following day.
