Hey Christie, just logged on today to facebook and youtude and found this video about this book, the thing is i find it very difficult to read a book al; through to the end, I would love to read this girls book, the only book i ever read was "The boy called It" and after it i had major flash backs from my own past, cause of the Abuse and self harming, but i will try, I also thought I would let you know that I have written and Published a book of poems of my Life issues. please check it out,

I believe many mental issues are based on physiological imbalances influenced by environment but the root lies in the physical, and hence a disease like hypertension. There are psychological disorders that are predominantly experiential such as traumatic stress disorder, but diseases such as major depression are mostly physically based. You can influence behavior by environmental influence but I suspect you cannot completely cure it that way. Some med Rx help but nothing perfect available yet.

This was the first time I have ever seen something on the Canadian amazon that is cheaper than the American even if it is by 85 cents :o but I can't bring myself to spend that much on a book especially a paperback when I still have my heart set on an ereader someday.

I highly suggest the books Crank, Glass and especially Impulse all by Ellen Hopkins. They are the best books ever :)

I've had the same problem as far as reading fictions books that are about mental illness but 2 I've really enjoyed have been "Winter Girls" by Laurie Halse Anderson and "Break" by Hannah Moskowitz

@TheCSickness True, I've been trying to make it more like home. Its hard moving to a new place! Thanks for noticing. Well it's an intense and long book, everyone reads at their own pace so no worries. At least you bought it and supported her. You'll be glad you read it once you're done! Anyway, I am slightly obsessive when it comes to books and can't put them down once I start reading (pretty much any book lol) so I don't expect anyone to read it and finish it at the pace I did! :D Take care.
