  • when will you be posting the garlic mashed potatoes?

  • @chekenfil I finaly posted the garlic mashed...did you ever get to make them? If you like your mashed potatoes to have a rich texture, use unsweetened coconut milk OR an unflavored soy creamer (as in a dairy-free creamer that is used for coffee). Silk makes one and it works well for potatoes. I did not mention it in the vid tho...

  • hi...Rice & almond milk are both a bit lighter than soy...rice being lightest because there is pretty much zero fat content, & almond being slightly sweeter. You can absolutely use either (only slight taste difference) & if you want the potatoes a bit more rich - add a little more vegan butter. Also, if you want extra creamy mashed potatoes, use a can of unsweetened coconut milk (my personal favorite). In next few days i will be posting a Garlic Mashed Potatoes recipe showing how with coco milk.

  • I'm learning how to cook vegan. If you substitute the soy milk with almond or rice milk, how much different will the potatoes turn out. Is the taste totally different?
