Jagjeet is a great artsit but i assess him a man with a serious & sober personality. In this item, he felt agony and tried to express his inside to the listeners, with out obviously exposing, what his feelings are. this is my a little bit delicate assessment. The combination of the instruments Tabla, guitar (specially at it's base part playing) and violin, just added extra music colours to the item. Few today can render Ghalib ghazals with the same sweetness of voice and depth of emotion as JS. Wonderful, just wonderful. He does like his musical accompaniments at high volume. Ghulam Ali still sings for sure. He has not come out with any new albums but he still goes around and does concerts here and there. I met him like a month ago here in the US. He was doing a concert.
