  • The harmony of honda motors =]

  • No way! That GS-R is rocking a b17a1!

That thing has a near perfect stroke ratio.

Hook that thing up N/A and you'll be hauling over other cars in your class at 11,000 + RPM.

God, I'd buy that engine in a heartbeat ... if I had money ... and a job ... and free time.

  • DUN DUN DUN!!!!! What we have here folks is a Type R clone!!!! Sure, it might have a Type-R motor....but it's not officially a Type R :). That's like painting spots on a zebra and calling it a cheetah lol. Also, notice that the 93 teg gets a jump on the launch and keeps a slight lead and then the other teg catches up. Now I'm not a genius, but somethin is fishy about that......maybe the "type r" drive mis shifted or somethin? All around fishy if you ask me

  • Leather seats... white numbers on the clock....no carbon fiber on the AC vents.... not a TYPE R

    NICE TRY LOL

  • @LaDyx2xFreSh YOUR RETARDED. dude holding the camera is in a GSR DUMFUCK. incase u didnt see the jdm front on the type r he was racing

  • Comment removed

  • @iHazADHD lol you've mistaken the "jdm front" for the 2nd gen integra front. the second gen integras come with a b17a gsr not a b18c. Be sure before calling someone out man.

  • @LaDyx2xFreSh Actually this time you are wrong, and all the ones who liked your comment. In the USA acura ITR came without the momo steering wheel, the recaro buckets and a few other stuff. Oh yes, and it also used leather seats. So it can be a type r.

  • @hasnyalmirigy and anyway it states in desc. that it is two gsr, one with itr mods. Since gsr is nonvtec and you can clearly hear vtec, you must have misread something. Oh and white numbers are used in EVERY integra type r.

  • @hasnyalmirigy gsr is vtec being b18c1 usdm vtec or b18c jdm wich is still vtec

  • @honda30369 yeah since my comment I found out that

  • @hasnyalmirigy cool. just wanted to help

  • whats up speakable,

  • wat a slow ass type r

  • @lougeelor1 if u think its slow because you are comparing it to the gsr.. you are wrong.. those DA gsr's are quick bro. their b17 tranny is somewhat similar to the type r tranny

  • Nice bro good run wazzz up!!!

  • nice run ,hey lumley wassup

  • tellement le meilleur spot

  • which one is more faster between a type r and a gsr?

  • @Clutchguillaume Type R by a longshot

  • @Clutchguillaume type r won its a high rev engine made specificly for racing jeje a stock b18b1 can beat a 2002 rsx so imagine a type r plus its dumb cus the other integra is a b16 so that was a pointless race didnt even have to race to know who would win the strait away

  • @Ansphyxiation the gsr is actually a B17A1...

  • @MRDC2day still whats the horse power on it

  • @Ansphyxiation its 160 like the B16 but i belive it has just a pinch more torque due to the displacment increase. but a very rare engine lol i would love a old gsr man.

  • b17 have 160 hp just like b16, and a lil more tq

  • @goldgreen90ef we all know that but for some reason there faster then a dc2 integra gsr

  • im jut gonna get a gsr and make it look like a type r

    type r spoiler

    type r oem tail lights

    type r lip

    dc2 red carpet

    type r steering wheel

    type r door panels

  • type r cluster

  • @sup3man ok, do u want a fuckin cookie?

  • GSR all day

  • 91 integra with b18a1 swap any good? none vtec

  • @skyline131313 its not a swap they come with them engines. and if your doing that get a 93 they got 10 more HP factory.

  • the guy in the type r cant drive. his start was shit an thats why the other teg was close. if it was done right it would be an easy win for the itr

  • b18c5 is better!!!

  • Honda/Acura Integra were only made in Japan. Every Integra V.I.N. starts off JH = Japanese Honda

    B17A1= 160 horsepower

  • thats not a ITR what a ricer. look at the other video it has side moldings nice try

  • The gearing in the b17 trans is the exact same as a ctr gearing just without the lsd, that it why it keeps up.

  • Yea.. and it not Highway friendly... sucker cusume a lot of gas at highway speed. I be doing 75MPH and Rpm is will over 4500Rpm on 5th gear, Vtec hit exactly at 100MPH when it on 5thgear.

  • My DB2 does 4000 at 70mph in 5th, a type r does 4500rpm @ 70mph, a LS does 3500rpm @70 in 5th, (hens the need 4 the LS final drive 5th gear swap on DB2.) Yah I found going 50-60 on the freeway is better anyway becuase Wanna be racers com up all the time and I can smoke the hell out of em more, I am less likely to come up on a racer doing 100mph then a racer coming up on me doing a casual 80mph, so its a win win situation. Cheers.

  • my gsr hit vtec when i go 80mph. i can drive in car pool it sucks. it drink gas like no tomorrow.

  • @BlueRice get a vtec controller from buddy club or something you can change the vtec engagement whenever at the RPM you want

  • @BlueRice it should engnage at 90 in 5th gear since thats at 4500RPM and thats only flooring it just driving it should be at about 100mph or 5000RPM in 5th gear. that is if you didnt change your engadgement point. i wouldnt 4500 is perfect.

  • @MRDC2day your right. i dont know if my ecu has been flash but the engagement is weird. it engage at different rpm depending on how much i floor the gas pedal. i can gas it a lil while reaching high rpm and vtec wont engage until 5300rpm but if i floor it the vtec engage like at 4500-4700rpm

  • @BlueRice that is weird mine is 4500 to the floor and 5000 just crusin lol it goes by oil pressure though maybe your loosing just a little oil pressure? or maybe its the solinoid? idk lol im guessing its your oil pressure is just a little different than mine. do you use 5w-30 oil?

  • @MRDC2day yeah, 2nd time your accurate! mine have a leak but not the vtec solinoid. its on the cam seal i think. it show wet near cam seal but no where out of the solinoid. although when vtec engage alot of oil leak. so im always confuse lol. i do use 5w-30 synthetic. recently i move to 10w-30 syn. i want to switch oil but scare of dmg. alot of advice not to swtich over... so i stick to syn oil.

  • @BlueRice yeah man stick to 5w-30 syn. it is better i use that castrol edge in 5w-30. well thats why then your cam seal and it leaks more out when vtec hits because your oil pressure increses. but if you really wanted to switch over oils to conventinol you could do it just make sure to drain ALL the syn. out lol but syn. has better wear protection and thermal breakdown and all that good stuff i recomend sticking to castrol fully synthetic oil.

  • wow that gsr kept up pretty good knowing that its a rare 93 gsr with 160hp at only 1.7 liters.. that car is rare.. keep it.. its gonna go up in value in the future knowing that only 5,000 were made in the U.S!

  • its true, i wish i had the rare 92-93 gs-r but i got 90' gs, i woulda bought a gs-r if i knew allot about cars then.

  • hey I have one for sell if you still looking for one.

  • 170hp

  • 160hp not 170...

  • 170hp...I now for a fact.

  • 160hp at 7600rpm.. this is a 93 gsr buddy.. 94-01 gsrs are 170-175hp.

  • Your right. My fault.I dont know what i was thinking.I feel like a asshole now.I was thinking dc integra and not da integra.I apologize.

  • I remember it was 170hp. but I read a couple of magazine they state it only have 160Hp. I still confused on this augurment..

  • The DB2 HAS 170 HORSEPOWER STOCK, 100 HP per litre 1.7L engine at this rate is 170hp, the B17A Comes STOCK with JDM TYPE R CAMS, dont think so? Get a set of both and measure the cam lobes, they are same in size. Even the JDM X-SI or JDM SI-R or R-SI does NOT have THIS EXACT R CAM and those are B16A engines from japan in japan integras and civics. (160hp). The perfect B17A will make 175HP at 8000rpm stock(cat removed.) Dyno tested. Thank you. Its more than just rare. B17A1.

  • i have 2 b17a1's in my backyard because people didnt want them from the junkyard. Its amazing that a b17 dynos just over 185 with i/h/e victor x intake manifold. Over 190 with a tune.

  • you are right. it is at 170. there alot of model out there. it depend on the years and where is made.

  • what the hell???how fast u wer going!!the maxx or what

  • the 93 gsr in thee owners manual states that car gets 55mph out of first gear LOL. and 93 B17 came with 170horse.. 143 to the wheels. the typer does weigh more. and for long run say the 5/8 mile the gsr would prolly win being able to stay in gear longer.. i drove a 93 and there stupid quick.. and for a car with 25 less horse to get beat by a car on a dig thats pretty good.. my money says they're both stock... and mercan herd the type r stock was 15.3

  • The end of second gear is 55 mph. It has 160 hp with about 135-140 whp. And the type r is actually lighter. The stock type r can run between 14.7 and 15.2, while the 92-93 gsr runs 15.2-15.4 stock.

  • The rare gsr from the 1993 came with 170Hp, and because the 2nd genteration is lighter then the third genration, also if u watch, everytime the camara guy moves from car to car, u can see why it differs from race to race. if there was no camara guy in either car the type r would be about a car ahead in the quarter mile, long run its hard to predict, cause the 93 has a ys1 tranny ,.

  • kill him yeah kill kill

  • the gsr must be modded, becuase the type r has 195hp and the gsr has 160 stock

  • The 92-93 gsr ran between 15.2-15.3 from the factory, which the Type R runs between a 14.7-14.9. It would be a drivers race favoring the type r

  • gsr has 180hp.

  • no they dont 92-93 gs-r's have 160 hp, then 3rd gen gsr's have 170 hp, and type r's are like 185-195 hp

  • 170 92-93 gsr,type r 195-200

  • 92-93 gsr b17a1.. rare. has 160hp but lil torque..
