As I understand it Israel doesn't have to give up an inch of land until there is a comprehensive and binding peace treaty and if there is one place on earth that needs a peace treaty after sixty years of bloody conflict it's Israel and her neighbours. As for new towns springing up on the west bank, they have to stop.

Oxford Historian Avi Shalim said of Finkelstein’s plagerism arguments against Dershowitz, they were "proved in a manner that would stand up in court."

Only in the last stage, at the level of the president of the university - a non-academic administrator - was his tenure rejected, and only after Dershwoitz, an outsider from the university, attacked Finkelstein in writing and implicitly threatened the university president and faculty with significant media attention from groups like ADL.
