Best office seat in the world indeed, but I'd soon get pissed off with the robot shouting minimums and counting down final altitude, what did pilots do before ILS? Must get back to my flight sim for more minimums.LOL.

But "the robot" is (if you don't know) called radio altimeter and do callouts of the Above Ground Level altitude (using the GPWS) and can work without ILS!

I do know what it is as it is part of the Ground Proximity Warning System(GPWS) that I here almost every night on FSX, but my name for it is the "robot" because of it's monotone voice. Why would I take offense? If I didn't already know then you would have put me right and that can only be good.LOL

Yes, I think it was. Wudda been a Crime to do anything else on an evening like this. Mr. X was annoyed about the Touchdown and Mr. Y replied "That was Alright" ! Or something to that effect .... !

Yes, a nice evening indeed, im no airline pilot, yet ;), but the approach looked quite nice, the reason the touchdown wasnt 'very light' or whatever was said, was because there wasnt enough flare? Correct me if im wrong. :)

Lots of Possible Reasons ... Like you said it could be anything from not enough Flare to the Pilots seat being set at the Wrong height to judge the flare, Weather Conditions ( Although in this Case there was none ) etc etc etc ....
