No : in order to have the real ending of the game, you need to do the game a second time, with a new weapon to beat the real end boss.

Because it's a Ghosts N' Goblin's tradition to make you have to play the game twice to beat it, ever since the first 1. At least you could save on the PSP Ultimate Ghost's and Goblins. I found that harder than this game! Never beat this 1 but I got close. Last boss on stage 7 on the second run on professional mode, from scratch in one day. Couldn't get to Sardius and gave up there

Every gamer ever has at least one game in their childhood that they bought and regretted. I remember spending days at age 6 playing this level because this game was the only birthday present i got. It even got to the point where the opening "cinematic" scared my ass off. Maybe not because of the gargoyle dude, but certainly because of the wonky jumps to come. This song will haunt my nightmares forever.
