  • I liked TP it sorta defined zelda, it said that zelda was a medival ffantasy game.

  • 6 people have no childhood

  • just beautiful

  • Can we all shut up about the games and talk about how this song makes you wanna shed manly tears?

  • Well we all know the Twilight Princess and Majora's Mask are the best Zelda's.

  • @LordVerdo all the zelda are the best end of the story

  • @samvideogamemanpro Fair enough haha.

  • @LordVerdo this 4 you, 4 mi the bettest zelda is oot or skyward sword and tp

  • Pffft HAHA SS LINK LOOKS LIKE A COMPLETE RETARD IN THAT PIC xd!

  • MAJORAS MASK RAPES THEM ALL.

  • I like the Majora's Mask Link

  • wait a second...where is the link from "a link to the past"?

  • @Joshtika18 To the right of the link above the 25th anniversary logo (skyward sword link)

  • @ArcaneZaros Ah! I see him now, (I though that was from zelda 2, but now I remember that that link was the only one without a bow.)

  • Majora's Mask was waaaay darker than Twilight Princess, jus sayn

  • @remofthelight I'd say it wasn't that dark, actually.

But what do you mean by dark? The main antagonist's ability to be evil?

I found the stylization of Majora's Mask to be quite comforting. Though somewhat depressing, it wasn't as overwhelming as Twilight Princess.

  • @superearthbender In Majora's Mask the entire game you knew that in a couple days the entire town's people would be crushed. How' the hell is that not dark?

  • @Pintopinata So you're saying that Men in Black is dark because half the movie you "KNOW" the Earth is going to get blown up?

I'll let that steep in. Here's a teabag.

  • @superearthbender Majora's Mask didn't have a comedy side. The whole game was focused around the moon crashing. What's dark about TP Btw.

  • @Pintopinata Twilight Princess had a dark world, which was generally depressing. The fact that most of the world was taken over by dark beasts was depressing, Hyrule Castle wasn't happy or cheery, but destroyed, and people were generally fearful of the way things were turning around them. For instance the townfolk in the first village.

Majora's Mask had none of that.

  • @superearthbender Twilight Princes was dark because of the dark colouring in the game. Ordon Village was a dark blackish color and orange, Lake Hylia and Zora's Domain were Dark Blue, Hyrule Field was orange, dark blue, dark green. Generally dark colors. The story wasn't really sad and you didn't feel for the characters. In MM, there was lot's of back story to find in the game, like the Deku Butlers son, Anju and Kafei, Sword trainer, and more. Looking around on the third day..

  • @Pintopinata Well, I suppose there are different criteria for what's depressing to a person. I felt depressed in nearly all Zelda titles, par Windwaker, Skyward Sword, and A Link to the Past. At least for what I've played, that is.

I wouldn't know about backstory, I was never really that into any of the titles. But to state again, it's just difference of perspective. For me, if a game is heavily stylized, then it's unlikely to depress me, because I don't associate it with the real world.

  • @Pintopinata I completely disagree with that statement. Majora's Mask was creepy with a sense that the end was near and it did have good back stories for characters. However, read the texts of MM to TP and you can see how much more sophisticated it is then MM. In addition, the Arbiter's Grounds alone was a clear cut sign that TP was a depressed game. It was an area that insane criminals were placed only to be executed and casted into the Twilight Realm.

  • @Pintopinata *Continued* Also Midna had the most personality and emotions far more then any companion Link ever had, so much that most people think the two were in love haha. How could you not feel something for at least her and heck even Zant, although he was a Villian he had an interesting back story that lead to his possession by Ganondorf.

  • @superearthbender *Continued* you could see all the characters in fear of death. You were under pressure in the temples because of the 3 days you had. Overall I fealt more involevd and sad if something bad happened to a character. But that's just my opinion.

  • @remofthelight Obviously. Majora's Mask was a deranged story of struggle. Twilight Princess was more of a War.

  • @remofthelight obviously! Tp was epicer tho, i make my words up

  • This fuckin audienceis super annoying.

  • Goosebumps overwhelming me while listening to this musical masterpiece :O

  • Fuck yeah Toon Link being the biggest one!

  • So far I think Twilight Princess is far superior to Skyward Sword. I'm not too far into the game *spoilers* (looking for the flames for the goddess sword) and I don't know. Twilight Princess feels more epic and more is at stake for Hyrule seeing Link in SS isn't even a Hylian.

  • @LordVerdo Are you retarded? You're contradicting yourself. In Twilight Princess, Link is an Ordonian.

  • @angus7021 Sorry a simple mistake. No need to be so hostile. My main point is that I am not fond of the SS story so far.

  • @angus7021 Atleast he was born in Hyrule. As Link in SS was born in Skyloft. Hell, they don't even know about Hyrule in Skyloft.

  • @Pintopinata Sir, based on that comment, right there, has proven that you are possibly the dumbest person I've ever argued with. You just lost this fight, have fun knowing that. Good day.

  • @angus7021 U mad bro?

  • @Pintopinata Nope, just frustrated that idiots like you are on Youtube. But, it can't be helped.

  • ahhh nothing will replace ocarina of time

although I am excited about skyward sword

  • 4:03 Freak Laugh!! XD

  • who's the one at the bottom left corner

  • @epickarek the spirit tracks graduation outfit Link

  • Oh dear! Why did you cut the top part of the picture?! It had the Fierce Deity. =3

That aside, I'm so glad I got the orchestral bundle. I got goosebumps when the song started. =D

  • At times I feel that.... that my experience with twilight princess surpasses my experience with ocarina of time. If nothing else, it at least comes close to my ocarina experience...... Sigh, memories so wistful, always elongating my inner peace, at this point zelda isn't a videogame series. It became evangelized into a work of art. As such it feels like this was made by a higher power. Heh, sorry for ranting so much, I jus had to get that off my chest. Btw twilight princess ending is my favorite

  • Wow, 4 people obviously had no childhood whatsoever... They need to play this game!

  • @AgentNos lol im going to assume by saying "play this game" u mean the entire zelda franchise.

  • it's funny how i can hear the coughing.....

  • Why the hell is green not my favorite color?

  • @HeyWheresKel No need to fret my friend, link has a blue tunic too.

  • I could say so much about this. But, I'll be short as I can. This music is so much better than any of the games and machines can ever record. Recording dont give this music justice at all. I beet 100% that the live performance was so great it was actually breath taking to be there. That place must had people dressed up as zelda characters all over the place. That came from all over just to hear that music. Without adoubt if I knew about that I would have begged my mom to take me to go.

  • My soul ... is in this music.

  • @hongoify Read my mind.

  • We must kill the person that coughed at 2:19 .

  • @MrMackinacisland More like @: More like 2:16

  • @MrMackinacisland lol. KNow how you feel. I went to a christmas concert and had a bunch of hicks behind me and they decided to start eating ice and talking during the performance, and of all pieces fucking Greensleeves!

  • @MrMackinacisland his name is Error

  • Even though I love Skyward Sword, I really wish they would bring back the dark, epic feeling Twilight Princess had. Just by looking at the collage of Links here though, you can tell which Link is from Twilight Princess. He's dark, mysterious, angry, and a young adult.

  • @notessimodude I agree the new one was to toony

  • @notessimodude Agreed in my opinion TP was the game that prooves that sequels can be better than the original (not that i don't love Oot) But Twilight princess was just...AGHSJFG i can't even explain it it was just...god so friggin magical and dark and emotional and it makes me feel like the people who haven't felt the way i feel every time i listen to this jush HAVE NO SOULS they keep living their boring emotionless lives and have no idea the feelings they are MISSING!!!

  • @Mari8BZF Alllright well I don't exactly like the sad parts of the Zelda games, but I do think Twilight Princess nailed the dark and mysterious feel. It felt like who you were fighting has actually done harm and will do more harm unless you stop them.

  • @notessimodude While I agree with you, I still feel Twilight Princess wasn't as dark or serious as Majora's Mask.

  • @notessimodude True, twilight princess was taken a bit back to the ocarina of time and majoras mask days, but even further.. getting skyward sword hopefully today, cant wait :o

  • @Storbein

Majora's Mask was actually the darkest of all the Zelda games. Twilight Princess was grim, but Majora's Mask was friggin DARK.

  • @notessimodude and more badass look at SS Link

  • @notessimodude I agree. Twilight Princess nailed the suspense and mystery Zelda games. True, Majora's Mask is the darkest, but I think Twilight Princess was the most MYSTERIOUS of the games, which is why I love it so much

  • @Zuyuri I think ocarina was the darkest. majoras mask was creepy, but ocarina was scary. dont agree with me, let me refresh your memory with a name of a mini boss... hmmm... does "DEAD HAND" ring a bell?

  • @Zuyuri I think twilight princess had the most heroic feeling in the zelda series

  • @notessimodude I'd like to add on that note. Twilight Princess Link also had the best voice for a young adult Link. I was disappointed in Skyward Sword where Link sounded legit like an asian, when before he sounded like he could be any race to me.

  • @angus7021 Well, that's hard to accomplish. The Twilight Princess Link had some parts where he sounded like an asian guy. For example when he would fall off a cliff, he'd yell. Now there's nothing wrong with him sounding like an asian, because the game was made in Japan. Although I do agree people could relate to the character more if they brought in a European, American, or Australian to do the voice acting (not even talking, just grunts/yells/screams).

  • @notessimodude Yeah they probably should. But what I'm saying is that this is the first Zelda game where Link sounds like he's in an anime.

  • @notessimodude How long have you been playing zelda games? ever since ocarina he's had the same voice. It's Iconic now, it would be absolutely wrong to bring in another actor. I'm also having a hard time trying to understand how his grunting sounds Asian... Please just stop. Twilight was good, but it doesn't define a generation of Zelda.

  • @thatguy1017 I'm not the guy that is complaining about him sounding Asian, the other guy is. Please take the time to read the comment before replying, especially if it was a reply. And if it was a reply, it may be crucial to read the one prior.

  • @angus7021 but, it's the same voice ¬¬

  • @notessimodude Oh shut up.

  • @notessimodude You can also see from this collage that he is the exception.

  • @notessimodude You like skyward sword? i did at first...but then all ya did was wstalk zelda and you had no mission xC

  • My Wii can't read my Zelda 25 symphony CD why?

  • @linkzellda Its an audio cd! play it on your computer

  • @linkzellda its a cd

  • this is....

  • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! No more coments...

  • I love the part of Ganon's theme at 7:19. The Choir makes me think of Link and Ganon clashing blades each time.

  • Very nice, it´s great! I think it would be very good too if they compose a complete opera, maybe something like Roger Waters´ Ça Ira.

  • Twilight Princess is my favorite Zelda, and I absolutely love the music. I did enjoy OoT as a kid, and replaying it on the 3DS was awesome, but there was something about TP that drew me in more. Maybe it's due to the fact that I was sick a lot, and the game was there for me to enjoy and give 100% attention to; Skyward Sword has a huge expectation to meet =P

  • this is really awesome, but the percussion kinda sucks. tambourine is way too loud and very clearly misses something at 3:49

  • This how the final boss theme should have should have sounded like on twilight princess instead of crappy MIDI.

  • yes this is what i always dream of...lol sound cornny, man wish i was there too see it

  • YAY!!! I NAMED ALL THE DIFFERENT LINKS!

  • 4:58 my fav part EVAH

  • I got the CD with these beautiful tracks (with the game skyward word) and I can't stop listening to them! ^ ^ for almost 4 hours! :D

  • I need the background as a poster.

  • @MrScrak Go full screen then press PrtScn. Then go to your desktop and paset the picture there. Then set it as your background.

  • MIDNA"S THEME! WOOHOO!

  • will all these songs be on the disc with skyward sword limited edition ?

  • @8NickzB Yep! It came a day early for me and it contains 8 tracks of absolute win :D

  • *wheaping* it is a beautiful master oeice that no one else could replicate at aall. THAT is how amazing it is.

  • I cried. This is just...amazing.

  • So great. It's like replaying the whole game in your head while hearing this. *-*

  • Zelda had such amazing music! Twilight Princess was underrated from a music view. It's great but I don't think as many people like it. But I do! Just listening to it makes me feel at home in the marvelous world of Hyrule. I found a site that you can get involved in a RP world just like Hyrule!

    it's z15.invisionfree(dot)com/AnglonRealms

  • No words, just beautiful feelings I will never forget.

  • i can not FATHOM how many times ive gone to Hyrule field and just stood there...i mean really...I'd be dancing to this shit

  • 3:15 HOLY SHIT GOOSEBUMPS KICKED MY FACE!

  • all my cries

  • SHUT THE FUCK UP AUDIENCE.

(Yes, I read this is TobyTurner's voice while typing it.)

  • the crowd sounds too loud T_T

  • WOOO WOOOOO SHUT UPPPPPPP

  • They should launch the DVD of the concerts!

  • @valguti or release a cd with the music recorded straight from the concert. If they did that, I would buy 5 copies.

  • @valguti They are releasing the CD with the New zelda game if you pre-order it

  • @4broshowplay yay because i pre-ordered it!!

  • I had the extreme privilege and honor of attending this concert on October 21, 2011 at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood, California. It was literally one of the best days of my life and I truly do feel sorry for everyone that missed out. However it has been CONFIRMED that because of the EXTREMELY large success of these concerts in Tokyo, London, and Los Angeles (Hollywood), that they will be having these concerts all over in the world in 2012! Again, this has been CONFIRMED!

  • @Rambo081 Omfg if they go anywhere near eastern canada i have to go. im so freaking jealous of anyone that went! even with these poor quality videos on youtube these still sound ridiculously amazing

  • @Rambo081 I know right? This was the best concert Ive ever been to, and i went to a couple Miku Hatsune concerts!(and yes, Im a dude) Truly amazing

  • @Rambo081 Oooh I'm so Jealous of you, I wanted to go but I have very little cash...

  • @Rambo081 I was there too. I cried. twas excellent

  • @Rambo081 am man enough to say that i'm jelly

  • @AsianHideOut Haha. No I have an appreciation for all genres of music. (to an extent) I just have a certain taste for Zelda music and video game music in general. (Skies of Arcadia ftw?)

  • @Rambo081 where can i find the concert dates? do you know anything about that?

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @Rambo081 damn wish I could come :(

oh well at lest I will have the CD :D

  • @Rambo081 :O ARE YOU SERIOUS?I live in Ireland,d'you think they'll come here?

  • @StickyCharmander You never know.

  • @Rambo081 I also wanted to add that these concerts will be four-part medleys, rather than the two part ones preformed in LA and London. That means we still haven't heard all of the re-orchestrated songs yet!

  • @JPSketches Wow, that's pretty incredible. I guess all the people who get to see the concert in Dallas and the concerts that will be after that will all be much luckier than me! And I mean all of them, regardless of where they sit.

  • i keep on feeling like crying cuz i missed out on this

  • In the words of piccolo; NEEEEEEEEEEERD!!

  • I must really love Zelda games a lot!... I cried at the end! XD Zelda has always been my favorite video game franchise and always will be!

  • The Legend of Beasting is Back This Nov

    Get Ready for Epicness

    Zelda Skyward Sword Goty 2011

    Rise up b*tch

    25th Anniiversary

  • Long Live Zeruda No Densetsu

  • Omg, i can wait to put my hands on the game, and my ears on that CD *-*

  • @ShonenStyle Oh yeah, 20th November is soo cloose but so faar at the same time ç.ç

  • 3:16 And then that guy/girl had to be killed.

  • why didn't they play nothing from Majoras Mask? Clock Tower theme, Clock Town theme, Termina Field theme etc...

  • @DoubleEd89

    It's not the whole concert.

  • @DoubleEd89 Yeah, that's my only major gripe about this concert - Majora's Mask getting the shaft. They should've done a Majora's Mask suite containing at least the four major themes from that game: Clocktown, Song of Healing, Giants Theme, and Majora's Theme.

  • Uneducated people, during an orchestra concert, you dont laugh, cry or clap until they completed the act .... even in a zelda concert

  • @marcofelizdx Exactly what I was thinking. It's not some rock concert.

  • @marcofelizdx I KNOW!!! It drives me crazy when people clap and stuff before the ending of an orchestra...

  • wow midnas theme sounds so magical and hyrule feald wow so epic if the songs where like this in twilight princess the game would be so much more epic but that would be the same with all zelda games because all zelda games are epic and i love them all

  • @Leonoflemuria: Do you now ignorant of the concert tradition that is? Do you know how frustrating it can be for a performer or listener who has grown up in said tradition to hear the audience make noise, let alone applaud in the middle of a piece? If you want to scream and cry, go to a pop music gig. When in the concert hall, you should respect concert hall traditions i.e. show your appreciation after a piece. It is not for you to "express yourself". If you want to do that, become a performer.

  • god i wanna go to one of these concerts if i dont have the chance to go i will shoot myself in the head!

  • And why didn't they cast a wolf?

    Ok, ill do it "Ahoooooooooooooo"

  • *not being posted for profit.

  • I paid for the LA show. I screamed, I cried, I clapped, I expressed myself. Everyone in a music venue, the audience included, should have a right to express themselves. Also @TheFanClubOfNintendo, this isn't illegal if it's up for profit, I believe. Could be wrong, though.

  • Ganondorf majora and vaati disliked this

  • Makes me smile immeadiateley :)

  • The musics of Twilight Princess are great, but the worst of Legend of Zelda saga...

  • @HHamza1989

are you sure about that?oh is that dinner I smell?

  • @HHamza1989 Haters gonna hate.

  • @ThreeKingsInABox As said, Twilight Princess was great. Are you able to read something ? ;)

  • @HHamza1989 Dear god... I must be illiterate. I'm sorry, my mistake.

  • An absolutely terrific and exquisite medley.

  • yey

  • This is illegal you know!
