what gear ratio are you using to create the smoothie?

aniltoora, Off the top of my head, I can't remember exactly.. I think the ratio from the wheel to the top sprocket (the little cog on the axle) was 1:10 (one turn of the wheel to 10 of the top sprocket. Then there was the ratio of the hand-drill (conversion of horizontal axle to vertical) which i think was about 1:3 (1 turn of the big cog to 3 of the little one on the drill)

Then of course there were ratios of the gearing on the bike. I think 1 turn on the pedal was about 2 of the wheel (1:2).

so the ratio of pedal to blender in total was around 1:60 (1 turn of the pedal to 60 of the blender blade)
