HI, thanks for sharing that video clip, nice. Please check out my videos and channel if you like GREEN ENERGY. On Earthday 2010 my invention won a green design award. :)
I have the same wind power generator in my backyard. Works very well I got full instruction how to build home made windmill... if anybody looking for...
If I am correct, it looks like there are 2 batteries to store the energy and then would convert to electricity which most use woutld be 12 volts. The gages shown show how much is collected at any given time. So you can't use more than you can collect in battery or during high use would fall short and you could fall back on another source of energy during those times.
I am 16 years old and was making a 10 foot diameter wind turbine! Spent over £400 then found out you need planning permission to put it up and costs £200! The council are twats!
dizzyparrot - just phrase your plan as a weathervane. The moment they hear weathervane they should for the most part back off & let you be. Councils are the same as politicians. It's all legalisms to them.
Its no longer free energy once the goverment gets involved ........next there be taxes on wind! Totally agree with you --they are all a bunch of twats!
Very good! Looks like the Hugh Piggott "Scoraig" Axial flux turbine design. How did you route your wires from the stator to the tower base? I don't see any wires at the top.
USA We have the same problem I have this saying I got from a former father in law I quote. "Where there is a will there is a lawsuit" It seems it is true too all is fine if you do nothing and let the world go to hell, but try to improve and like roaches they are all out ready to feast. We do have the ability of going somewhere rural to get away but they move in around you and same problem.

Hey man, I have also built a turbine in Helsinki, but I had to take it down for the winter.
Is your turbine still up? Did you upgrade it?
What did you do with your batteries in Winter?
Did you have to get a building permit for it?
I'm planning to put up 2X1Kw turbines next to my mökki and I'm wondering if the kunta will give me trouble because of it.
Have a happy new year!

Wind and solar for energy.....Then cisterns for rain water....Then large veg garden....Chicken coop for eggs......biodigester for waste.
I want it all so badly!!!! I'm headed there soon.

I built my own Solar Panels for UNDER $100 that I am currently using to provide free electricity for my 1700 Square Foot home using the plans at:

Good Amperage, but it's barely making any voltage. Only around 12. That's...24 watts?? I've seen much more powerful.
BUT THEN, near the end, it says 9 - 12 Amps. What was the difference in measurement?? and at what voltage was that??
GREAT TURBINE THOUGH!! I want to me my own (=
