First You represent yourself, Secondly you are insulting yourself by saying Weyane, as long as your mother tongue is Tigrinya then Weyane are your other half in another word Tigray is your ancestors land. I think there is a very big misunderstanding with people who oppose this. If people actually pay attention to his shows, a lot of them have lessons. They teach people through comedy, which is very important, especially to the youth in Eritrea who are having their brains washed through the globalization that U.S. and Hollywood are gladly doing. Comedians like him are needed to get through people. I know this because I've seen it.
You're right sammydynamite the motive and intention is good. It is the methodology that is desterbing. In addition, the all time exclusive culture of ours is keeping us short from cultural, economical, and poletical development. I wish we and our culture were as powerful as the outside influence that we consider devestating. As we criticize hollywood's influence we should also remember the platform it provides and try to utilize it for our own good.

If the purpose of comedy is only to make us laugh I find it very disappointing and awful way of wasting time for everyone. In addition a comedian has a choice to be entertaining in educative and stimulating way or by degrading and insulting culture, people, traditions, religion including surrounding those things. Most of the time I find Eritrean and Ethiopian comedians to be the later one. Does this reflect the backwardness, dark, ugly,nd poor culture of ours or is this an outside-influence?

I think it's a combination but who knows what the remedy is? This kind of jocks can only hit home to narrow-minded kids. Suzino with his friends will wake up one day to a harsh reality of his deceiving and non sense jokes. In a time as such one would expect from him enlightening and constructive jocks.
