This is a very old video showing an older software revision. Our current installation is set up with around 15 different custom platform emulators modified for performance on our systems. Users just need to source and add their own roms, games or other software they want to play.
stupid question, but how do you set it up so when you play the simpsons you can do credits and then select the character, ever time i enter coins it is for one specific character.
You must have both the parent 4-player rom and the 2-player clone, then you can play the 2-player version which allows manual character selection - this is also the same for TMNT.
The custom front-end is used on licence from the author of Mamewah and we are the only cabinet builders with this licence. The games shown are not included when a machine is bought are used in this as a tech demo to show how we have optimised the standard Pentium 3 PC spec.
This is not posted as an instructional video, it is a demonstration for potential customers of how fluid the Turnarcades' software setup runs on our custom built arcades. The software installation was recently updated with new skins and tweaks for even better performance and more seamless launching. (New video coming soon)
very good I have probs figuring out the frontends I bought gameex but it crashes all the time I bought maximus arcade which is ok I would love to set mine up like yours could you supply me with the setups please pretty please?
That intro is known as Arcade'84 and was made by a chap called Dave Dries. Google for 'Arcade 84' and you can download several versions of it, including an interactive one.
This is a customised front-end with ideas borrowed heavily from Mamewah 1.61. If you are after similar results, Google for Mamewah and get the latest version. It takes some work but with some custom tweaks you can achieve similar results.
