  • Made this a fifth time and filled two with applewood bacon, cheddar cheese, and scrambled eggs. What an unforgettable brunch. The store-bought biscuits will never hold a candle to these biscuits due to use of fresh ingredients and butter instead of bland shortening.

  • "Cut with a lightly floured knife" that was definitely a fork.

  • 1:26 im pretty sure thats a fork :/

  • Thoes aren't biscuits... I'm from New zealand

  • Or you can just make them because its fun and not boring

  • OR you can just buy them. Those are too much ingredients and I bet they cost a whole lot more than getting em at shopright. besides biscuits from shops are so much better. Try red lobster for example. Their biscuits are bomb!

  • @silentswan12 These biscuits are a million times better than those you find at the supermarket. I've made them 3 or 4 times now.

  • KFC's biscuits are the best try them!!!

  • those are scones right?

  • 1 they are not buscuits 2 they look like scones

    im british obviously

  • Also, did you know? Fanny means vagina in England instead of backside

  • they these like scones?

  • @cherie88cc92 maybe but they're not burnt yay~!

  • Here they are bread rolls...get over it.

  • Omg, I love this. I just finish making this to eat with left over pizza. I didn't have buttermilk so I substitute it with milk & vinegar. It came out fluffy and delicious. Pizza+Salad+Butter biscuit= yum. I will definitively make this again for me & my bf. Whoooot!

  • This is the second time I've made these biscuits, and they are perfect! I tend to have bad experiences with recipes calling for cold butter b/c I'm a very warm-bodied person. However, both times that I've made these, my biscuits have come out fluffy with bunches of layers and flavor. The key to creating good biscuits is 1. keep your ingredients cold 2. don't mess with the dough too much once the liquid has been added. Also, I had to add a bit more liquid than the recipe called for. YUM!

  • @alesbica Also, I halved this recipe, which yielded good-sized 6 biscuits, and I placed the biscuits in a cake pan with all of them touching each other to create even height. Lastly, pat down the dough to about 1/2 inch if you want thicker, higher biscuits.

  • I am engish I came here for biscuits not no bread puff

  • where the fuck is biscuit a bread roll lady ?

  • @geishathor ...America?

  • 181 people don't know what a proxy is.

  • 1:25 She said knife but we saw a fork. Damn, Howcast!

  • i luv biscuts yay

  • Back to the point of the video: I'd like to say this recipe yields fantastic-tasting biscuits. So yummy! Thank you.

It's real. It's really a cancer causing food.

  • 1:23 That's a fork not a knife!

  • @Misszola16 so do u know how to make better biscuits??

  • @Misszola16

this recipe is for whats known as biscuits in the US

  • @Misszola16 me to yay and u r right they looked like skones

  • @Misszola16 every country has there own way in how they do things in the united states a biscuit is bread you usually put butter on it or alot of people like there sauge and biscuits which is a biscuit (which is a bread ) and its split open and a milk white sauce gravy with sauge in it is poured over the top of the biscuit,,a biscuit over where you are would be a cookie ,,,,BUT HERE IN THE USA ITS NOT,,,

  • @Misszola16 i agree

  • thats a scone and in england they refer bread rolls to bread rolls cookies as cookies and biscuits are buiscuits ..........buiscuits are different than cookies .stupid people

  • WTF? Dumb fucks england do not refer a biscuit to a cookie, cunts.

  • Step 1 : Look at the directions behind the box

  • why am i watching this???? I DONT COOK!!!!!!!!

  • this is a scone not a biscuit

  • manrhy bhi biscoot thandi hoe cha..

  • Im english and i thought she was gunna make biscuits, not bread rolls!

  • @ATLjade1 yeab but you can't stick biscuits up your ass without them crumbling into pieces so america wins this day

  • @ATLjade1 lol thought the same!!

  • The main problem with American cooks is that they use Imperial measures, instead of metric measures. So, infact using Imperial measures compounds the quantity of ingredients, therefore I'm stuck here and I have no idea what an inch, or tbsp is. :-P

  • haha we have that kind of baking soda!

  • this is a scone, not a biscuit.

  • ohhh those silly british

  • I think that guy never eat...

  • I gotta stop watchin these, I'm starving!

  • everybody give a thumbs down to everybody begging for a thumbs up.

  • Wait this doesn't look like biscuits... ooooh it's american lol

I though I was going to see cookies :)

  • in england we call those scones, americans call buscuits cookies

  • Man isn't she sweet........who needs biscuits....

  • I LIKE FOODWISHES VERSION BETTER

  • Because everybody does put such a big smile on their face whilst they're making cookies...

  • 1:37 didn't she said it's so hot when it's out, and it's steaming? why can she open it with bare hands .... ==

  • its a scone and a folk

  • thumbs up if you HATE advertisments

  • I set my oven to 420 rather than 425, I found the extra five degrees makes it too high. Also, in England a cigarette is a fag.

  • step 1 go to a local grocery store

step2 go in refridgerater aisle and pick up philsberry buiscuit

step3 stick in toster wait for the beeeep eat and enjoy

  • @117angelie I don't remember putting biscuits in a toaster.

  • @iluvwebkinz829 i ment toster oven oops sorry lol

  • SCONES!

  • Me thinking "wtf these arent biscuits!!"

Then they tell me at the end, in england, biscuits are what you americans call Cookies.

  • @MrSkinnyBill it's so confusing somethimes, even though we speak the same language. There are many words in the American cooking range which are completely different to the English ones, like cornstarch, for cornflour.

I used to confuse it with the stuff you use to iron shirts!!!!

  • Fail. Its called going to the store pick out the biscuits you want.

  • Wtf those arent biscuits they're massively sized testicles in england they look exactley like a "cookie" to what you americans call it

  • abba england cookie !!!

  • so americans say cookie instead of biscuits!

    btw that sounded really dumb

  • 'Did you know that in England, biscuit refers to a cookie?'

Why yes, yes i did because i AM fucking English.

  • @jamieandrews1994 I knew it already because I'm Irish. :P

  • half the vid is about ingriedients

  • don't forget the flour..

  • LOL i feel like gir "you gonna make biscuits? you gonna make biscuits? you gonna make biscuits? you gonna make biscuits?"

  • ok you do not need that much stough

  • uhm that is buns?

  • I HATE THE ADVERTISMENTS!!!!!!

  • can u do this without milk

  • isn't that just like...scones?

  • @bbrofl

They are not scones. Scones contain fruit and suag, as these do not.

  • @StarleePie47 Not all scones contain sugar and fruit....they can be plain

  • AS SR0PENNE0BRILLO SAID THIS ARE NOT BISCUITES THIS ARE SCONES STUPED NON ENGLISH PEOPLE WELL TO BE ONIST IM WELSH BUT HEY IM CLOUSER TO ENGLAND

  • What's with all the complaining about these being called biscuits? This is obviously an American video and we Americans call this a biscuit. We don't normally eat these as a snack or dessert. They are not sweet. There are no added eggs, cream or fruit & these call for far less sugar than a traditional scone recipe. Most American biscuit recipes call for no sugar. In the southeastern U.S. we use shortening and self-rising flour. They are awesome with breakfast sausage and mustard.

  • when it's said to use a knife, it showed a fork in the picture O_o

  • no offence but they look like scones

  • i just use that pillsbery stuff that comes in a can :D

  • They are scones! NOT BISCIUTS! Would be nice if added cinnamon/dried fruit, with bit jam in middle, mmmmmmm yummy, shame I can't eat food like that, don't wanna get fat, ps I Love The Legendery Miss Britney Spears and today the police murdered a deer called Bambi, they shot it, everyone in Dundee is sad, sick of the police killing people/animals and getting away with it! xxx

  • @RaggzyCJ I know right? Its part of a dead rabbit.

  • @frostymintofdeath : DEFINITELY a dead rabbit.

  • I'm English and that is a scone

  • Not biscuits more like scones... goes well with jam and cream... Creams teas anyone....

  • that's not biscuit :|

  • Well made video, but quite cursory. I could have gotten all that from reading a recipe.

  • in Australia we call biscuits ... scones and cookies... biscuits

and we eat scones with jam (i think they call it jelly in other places)and whipped cream

  • Oh yeah I tried biscuits with jelly, it tastes good!

  • The word cookie in french is biscuit they got their facts wrong

  • Thats a Scone not a biscuit er cookie er biscuit well it's a scone we British put butter and jam and have them with afternoon tea blimey give those colonials a couple hundred years of freedom and they manage to change a biscuit in a cake

  • wth? we brits dont call biscuits cookies???

    ---

oh wow thats why 'biscuit is a cookie' in england. i thought they were funny looking biscuits :P

  • in england a biscuit doesnt refer to a cookie trust me i live there!

  • Lol!!!! How come Americans can be soo arrogant!! XD

  • I want a wife like her! Ms. Bread!

  • ;[ lol

  • whats a butter milk???

  • @stardust2909

    sour milk

  • @stardust2909 sour milk or milk left over after churning butter.

  • Kosher salt? Cant Jewish people eat regular salt?

  • Yeah, but then their not getting the profits.

  • the video is wrong, we dont call cookies biscuits in the uk. buscuits are a general term for sweet things like cookies as an example, other things we call buscuits include stuff like custard creams, malted milk and stuff like that.

  • Yeah and in America we don't call cookies cookies. Cookies is a general term for about 4 1/2 ounces of crack! Other things we call cookies are pussy, and cookies. You know, stuff like that.

  • well see now I know, all it takes is a mature person such as yourself to point out a small error and not be all "hurr durr americans are stupid hurr durr"

    Thank you sir.

  • Those look like scones.

    O well, food is food.

  • What!!! BISCUITS? in uk i thinks we calls it "Scones" ! if i am right!

  • in the South, this is what a biscuit is. Calling a biscuit a cookie just makes me feel like a fatass

  • @Killa1442 Biscuits are not made with sugar, in the south.

  • I love biscuits!

  • in Holland we have "beschuitjes" which are delicious :D especially with "hagelslag"

  • yup biscuit aint no bread roll and dat aint no cookie lol

  • totally agree. real homemade biscuits are vegtable shortening/lard, buttermilk and self rising flour. you can buy these in the store

  • How could they get Biscuits from scones?!

  • isnt that a scone not a biscuit?

  • biscuits doesn't mean cookie over here O.O

    and aren't they scones? lol

  • In the US, biscuits are referred to as cookies, be it chocolate chip, rich tea, digestive, custard cream, etc.

  • you mean in the UK.. in the USA a cookie is a cookie... a biscuit is what is shown on this video, bread. =)

  • You take my comment out of context, I meant that the general term for what the British call "biscuits" is "cookies" in the US.
