They cut this out cause its pretty pointless lol... we know he takes her from the hospital in the next scene. I still don't see what chemistry people are talking about... Lana and Clark had chemistry... Lois and Clark have chemistry.... Chloe and Clark... they're like brother and sister

while this is a most touching scene it really wouldn't have added anything to the episode. The "Clark is Chloes hero" has been made perfectly clear plenty of times.

Still I'll admit that I'd rather have this scene than all those similarily repetitive scenes with Clark and Lana. If they're going to milk the same cow over and over and over again then they should at least choose the more interesting one. Lana is so damn one dimensional that I'd take Chloe over her any day of the week.
