Its useless noodling on a guitar. I can see why they didn't release it. For me, all that Madge stuff was the weak point of the album. I'm an early Mac fan and that's just my opinion.

This is better than "Albatross". It boggles the mind to think this stuff went unreleased at the time. Too good to be true...the "Madge" sessions really found that first incarnation of the band at a peak!!!
@snackleforkofemir Yes, it's on amazon for $109:00. If I had that sort of dosh to shell out "willy nilly" on an audio CD i'd buy it in an instant. I can't though justify the cost in my brain.
The Madge Sessions came about after a whole day of studio jamming between Peter G & Danny K in June 1969. A long 20 min. piece called "Jam To Be Used" was later cut/edited to two pieces for the album"Then Play On"--Fighting for Madge and Searching for Madge. The remnant of "Jam to be Used" was called "Madge Sessions--1", and the track here was originally titled "Danny's Instrumental," then later called "Madge Sessions--2." The latter two didn't appear on any album until "The Vaudeville Years".
