Eph. 2:8,9 shows us that our attempts at any good deeds will never earn us a place in Heaven. Our past, present, or future sins can never be overcome or cancelled out by doing any amount of good works. If nothing but faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross for our sin can save us; than nothing can cause us to lose our salvation either.
You might stop committing adultery, but you're not gonna stop looking at women with sexual desires and the Bible says it's still adultery (Matthew 5:28). Or if you hate someone or call them fool, you're committing murder in the eyes of God (Matthew 5:22), everybody lies everyday and I could go on and on about sins we commit every day. So are you telling me you deserve salvation just because you're in church? YOU DON'T. That's why Jesus died for us. Just so we could be justified.
read heb.8 ver 13 heb 7 18 heb 8 7 gal 3 10 gal 3 13 mat 5 18 gal 5 2 gal 5 12 by your own word we are all sinners so see you in hell then cause if GOD is gona condem us for our sins or what we do we are lost
@boricua796 Just let me know when you have studied more than one verse of the Bible. Even that one you do not understand! Yeah, one of those that believe that people just backslide. A tree is known by its fruit. You are blind to the truth!
… (5) And there is nothing in this Acts5:1-0 that says this couple went to hell, to say they did is pure assumption. The sin unto death is speaking of a literal death not a spiritual one. God Judges the hearts.
… (4)Therefore ‘the sin unto death’ is (Despising God's Chastening). That’s why we are told not to do THAT in both testaments (Prov.3:11-12, Heb.12:5-6). David committed murder yet he live to be a very old man, but yet a couple in Acts5:1-10 told a lie and died on the spot with no opportunity to repent... it not was their sins per-say that cause their un-timely deaths, but their hearts that was soaked in refusing God's correction. They died literally.
… (3)Again more info is needed! Question: Are there any verses that clearly show what the sin unto death is? YES, there are many! Two in particular are (Prov.29:1, 2Chron.36:11-16) However there is nothing in these verses that say or imply that the sin unto death means one loses their soul. In short as YOU said, it is when we refuse to repent though God has warned us many times.
… (2)You're reading too much into the text! And you’re double talking, you hint around it and yet at the same you associated murder, fornication, and adulatory as being sins unto to death. Again the text shows that the sin unto death is singular and not plural as in one and not many. And you are assuming when u say that the sin-s unto to death are murder, fornication, and adulatory, why is this? Because 1John5:16-17 doesn't identify it by name.
(1)The sin unto death (1John.5:16-17) is singular and not plural as U have supposed, the text doesn't tell us what the sin unto death is, therefore more info is needed. With that said, the text is in NO way implies or say that the sin unto death means u lose your salvation, yet it clearly implies you can died an untimely death (Ecc 7:17).
there is a person that died in his sins and yet his spirit will be saved on the Lord's day,(1Cor. 5:1-5) note verse "5 deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus" Note "that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus" This was a matter in the Church, not outside of it. This Christian was in open sin, in body he suffered because of his sins, but it is clear his spirit will be saved in the day of the Lord.
… (7)If you would like to talk more on this topic for a greater clarity hit me up on my YouTube Channel and send you my home and cell numbers. A true friend, Samuel
… (6)All the verses you use in your video to prove your belief are taken out of context and put into a pretext. Must of the people that does this are not aware they are doing it! They are considering the context as they interpret based partial quotes. Yet my explanation is what we call contextual consideration; in short, interpretation MUST be based on all facts concerning a topic.
… (5)This is another deceitful example were a single verse is taken out of context and put in to a pretext. For the sake of your soul man “YOUCAN’T BUILD A DOCTRINE ON A PARTIAL QUOTES ON A VERSES!) You’re preaching a grace-less gospel! And please let’s not play tug-of-war with the Bible, if you’re wrong, you are wrong, just repent. I assure you that God can and will forgive you of your error.
… (4)The Bible clearly teaches us that Moses, David, Isaac, Solomon, and Noah were all men of God, declared righteous by God because of their faith, NOT because they were not without sins. In short my friend, “it’s called the mercy and grace of God” So please stop fighting against God Sir and relax from your self-righteous works and learn to be content with what Jesus has done for you. It is by faith in Jesus’ redemptive work alone that we come into God’s mercy and grace!
… (3)Ok let’s see … MUDERED: Moses and David murdered (Exodus 2:14 & 2 Samuel 11). Are Moses and David in Hell? Of course not! Ok next … LIAR: Isaac lied (Genesis 26:6-7). Are we to say that Isaac is in hell? Of course not! Next … fornicator & adulator: David and Solomon (2 Samuel 11 & 1Kings 11:1-3) Are to say that these two men are in hell? God forbid! Next … drunker: Noah got drunk and naked (Genesis 9:21-25). Are we to say that Noah is in Hell? NO!
… (2)First of all that verse understood in its context services as a warning to those who are not saved and un-repented of their sin. These people are living in full-blown sins with no regard to God what-so-ever! These are not Christians, but the unbelieving world. Now back to your statement, (A murderer, liar, fornicator, adulator, and a drunker, THESE TPYES OF PEOPLE WILL NOT WILL NOT INHERENT THE KINGOM OF GOD).
(1)Respectfully Sir you said that, (certain people will not inherent the kingdom of God) (this of course is found in Rev.7:8) you farther listed certain evil-doers; such as (A murderer, liar, fornicator, adulator, and a drunkard) you went on to say, that, the Bible is very clear, (THESE TPYES OF PEOPLE WILL NOT WILL NOT INHERENT THE KINGOM OF GOD).
k am gona ask you something bible say if you say you dont have sin you are a liar and the truth is not in you and also say if you have sin you are not of GOD WHICH ONE IT IS ? second for you information judas never was saved the bible say clear he was the soon of perdicion so that example dont count
@1spirit1body1God Thank you for the post. To be clear I am not trying to justify any sin but as the Bible states there is a sin unto death and a sin not unto death. God bless!
It's good to really understand the bible without the filter of calvinism. We can see clearly the meaning the verses you gave. Calvinism has too much intetpretations and opinions on those verses making it complicated and inconsistent with other verses rather than letting the verses speak for itself. Thanks
Awesome post! I have come many of the same findings through searching the scriptures myself, in contrast to what the churches I have attended taught. I like the teaching on 1 john 5:16. My question is why pray for the one who sins not unto death and not for the one who sins unto death? if you can repent in either circumstance why not pray in either case, in the hope that they may repent?
@rtslayer Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I will try to answer your question concerning praying for sins not unto death and sins that are unto death. The passage is teaching that a fellow Christian can pray for another Christian and their sins NOT UNTO DEATH will be forgiven. On the other hand a Christian committing a sin UNTO DEATH cannot be forgiven by another Christian's prayer. They are now lost and must repent and come back to the cross. Job offered sacrifice for his sons. GB
I have a weird Story. After living a sinful life I turned to God and I lived in holiness.
I was filled with Holy Spirit and I enjoyed Gods presence. After one and a half years I felt attacked and unsatified somehow. So I decided to go back into what satisfied me in the past.: Pornography. As I went into pornography and masturbation a part of me said: NO. that's not what I want. IT was a split decision like schizophrenia. Still dont understand how that worked. However as a result

It is impossible to define when one is lost or found, according to their apparent sins.
More important is Jesus' teaching to the pharisees, that they clean up the outside of the cup but they are still full of sin. It is these ones who are the guilty of the greater sin. In Matthew we see the wedding feast, how "good and bad" were invited off the highways, then, there was one who was ejected for not having a wedding garment. That man is the man with the plank in his eye.
About adultery, not only one time, as David did, but even if you think it in your mind, according to Jesus. To measure sin in ourselves or others turns out to be a futile pursuit; sin is carnality, and if it appears in the body, that is only a manifestation of what already occured in the soul.
Friends, if you are living in sin, please repent. If you have been born again and have turned your back on God, repent and turn back to Him now. Live good and stand for truth. Wake up before it is too late, and you can spend forever with the Lord in heaven.
Surely we are not holy to the point where if we was to die today.. then what sin would God find in our hearts? Thus, none of us would make it to heaven because we are not in the image of christ till our ressurection.
Therefor, the once saved always saved must apply. A drunkard who has christ does not enjoy his drunkard. He is sad.. and thinks how much he hates himself for drinking away his life. Surely Gods power will intervene.
There is only one Person satisfied in salvation,God.If God is satisfied with Jesus, can He can become un satisfied ?.......And such were some of you a drunkard.thief, murderer. but now are you washed etec. The sin unto death is physical death.Christ cannot be un satisfied to God by what a sinner does. When we say the Atonement is controlled by behavior it is saying Christ is not always satisfactory to God unless man puts him on the cross takes him off the cross etc.Man cannot control salvation
Does that mean we loose our salvation everyday? by the little sins we make?? How we know when we lost it and when the alvation is back? Do we record everysin or sinful thoughts we have to repent and what if we forget one sin?
There is a sin unto death and a sin not unto death, as the Bible teaches. You cannot be a fornicator, for instance, and be a child of God. If you lack the proper patience one day this is not unto spiritual death. We all fall short of God's holiness and perfectness everyday but that does not mean that all sin will cost us our salvation. The Bible is clear that no liar, drunkard, murderer, etc. will inherit the kingdom of God. We know we are saved because we keep His Commandments. God bless!

if you have broken one commandment you are guilty of all we all are drunkerds fornocators paul was a murderer you are saved by grace alone unless you walk away from God forever and die nothing seperates you from God you need not to teach but to Be quiet and Listen You are Leading people astray you will be acountable for that. Its true you cant just be saved and live any old way you want but when your saved God will change your desires its what he does not what you do.
Thanks for posting. I am not leading people astray. The false doctrine of eternal security truly is what is wrong here. True, all have sinned and I never denied that. The point to the video is that many are drunkards, fornicators, etc. and believe they are saved. A tree is known by its fruit. Also there is a sin unto death and a sin not unto death. Certain sins are sins unto death. I welcome your scriptures to reenforce eternal security. We all just want the truth! GB
What does the beginning of 2 Peter say? "But there are false prophets among the people".
The whole chapter is speaking of false teachers and their destruction. Please interpret scripture properly....You are making people give up by lies....So if you struggle with sin you go to Hell by your words......I'm just here to call this non-sense.
You are dead wrong on this topic period. The beginning of the chapter is indeed about false prophets but 2nd Peter 2:20-22 is clear. "For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge on Lord and Savior Jesus Christ they are again entangled." The people have escaped. These people are again entangled therein. This is speaking of sows that were washed returning to the mire. No offense but it is people like you that have adulterers going to heaven. What a lie.
Again you are misunderstanding. I never said that anyone was sinless. Only one that was Jesus. There is a sin unto death and a sin not unto death. This is spiritual death. We sometimes lack patience, this is not unto spiritual death. Committing murder is unto spiritual death. Sorry to tell you this, but not everyone that cries Lord, Lord will enter the the kingdom. Point is, quit believing this lie that once saved always saved. If you turn and commit things worthy of death, you die.
mtzion211, you're very welcome. I hope you don't mind that I added some more scriptures to the ones you've already mentioned. I just want to help out since soo many people are not wanting to believe what may be true. It hurts to believe it. I know it..That's why I asked God to lead me to the truth and take my fear of it away . Take care.
If any of you don't believe I'm telling you the truth (my story), here are some scriptures from the bible that supports this fact that salvation can be lost. The Bible warns Christians that they can 'fall from grace' in Galatians 5:1-5; be 'cut off from salvation' in Romans 11:18-22; 'have their names removed from the Lamb's Book of Life' in Revelations 22:19; and by committing certain sins and not repenting of them, in Ephesians 5:3-5, 1 Corinthians 6:9, Galatians 5:19 and Revelations 21:6-8.
mtzion211, I am going to back you up on this topic. If readers would like a personal example of how you can lose your salvation, read my story posted in comments section of mtzion211's video called SALVATION CAN BE LOST IF YOU TURN! HERE IS WHY!
Thank you very much. Many disagree with this teaching as you are aware from your past. Thank you for your positive comments. They are certainly encouraging and I am thankful that you see this important truth! God bless!
You are suggesting that our works secure our salvation when our works did nothing to attain it. You speak about things that ONLY God can know. That is the motives of a mans heart. You say that if someone is truly saved then after that you will NEVER sin again or struggle with your sin. I am saved....COMPLETELY by Faith ALONE. I turned from my ways yet I still had struggles to deal with. You're suggesting that NO ONE sins after being born again. U forget his blood covers our ENTIRE breathe. FAITH
Thank you for posting. You have misunderstood what I am saying. I never said that we do not struggle with temptation. Being tempted and committing the act is two different things. We are saved by grace because none of us deserve salvation. This does not mean that because it is grace that we cannot lose salvation, no more than grace would automatically give salvation. As an example, how can a preacher that commits adultery still be saved when no adulterer will enter the kingdom of God?
Also I would like to get your opinion on two things. 1) What does Jesus mean when He states that a tree is know by it's fruit, A good tree cannot produce corrupt fruit and corrupt tree cannot produce good fruit. 2) How do you interpret 2nd Peter 2:20-22. Thanks and God bless!
You are a hypocrite and should study the scriptures more closely. Faith IS a work so to say that "works did nothing to attain our salvation", you are simply denying your own false faith-alone doctrine. John 6:29
I suggest that you turn away from Faith-Alone, it's leading you into the path of destruction.
Faith is an act not a work.....My faith onto salvation was given to me as well...It is by GRACE not by WORKS. So I think I'll stick with the cross and what Christ did for me and not what I do for me......God Bless
You are blind. I gave you a scripture proving that faith is a work and you refuse to believe it? LOL, and you claim that you follow Jesus. Blinded by the lies of the devil that deceives you. I think you should stick to what the scriptures say and not what your "man-made" beliefs teach.
John 6:29- Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the WORK of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
You take the word "faith" out of context as it is anyways. You should listen to my videos.
LOL.......apparently you can read but you can't understand.......it IS GRACE ALONE NOT of ourselves that NO MAN shall boast....like urself....lol!!!! All have fallen short......too many people like yourself claim to know the word......I have read the bible from cover to cover multiple times.....U need to learn how to interpret scripture. The faith to believe is giving to us....that's why some are called and some are NOT.
My videos are me giving SCRIPTURAL PROOF that FAITH ALONE does NOT save a man. In fact, if you were to read James 2:17-26, then you would see that your so called "faith alone" belief is a bunch of crap. Your man-made beliefs is taking you down the road of destruction and instead of worrying about what your peers will say, you should start studying the scriptures and use them to your advantage. Stop relying on men telling you what to believe in. USE THE SCRIPTURES! THEY ARE THERE FOR A REASON!
Hello. I appreciate the discussion. I wanted to say that "faith without works is dead." In my opinion works is a direct by-product of faith. True faith produces works. Salvation can be lost if you turn. Some believe, like me, that you can lose your salvation. Some believe, the person who turns was not saved to begin with. Calvinism, perserverence of the saints, as an example. I would be happy if we just could establish that one cannot be "living like the devil" and be saved. GB
John 6:29 does NOT speak of salvation through works......lol. The will of the Father is that ALL accept his son, but that faith is not of man but giving by the holy spirit......your confusion is obvious and I'm sorry 2 tell u....U can work alll u want and u will be nothing but condemned in the sight of God.....Keep reading please........
How bout you read.....verse 36. Once saved in Christ always saved.......
Not only have you openly admitted that man does not have free will, but now you are saying that John 6:29 isn't talking about salvation through works? I never said that it was talking about SALVATION. But it does talk about WORKS- and guess what, you have to HARMONIZE ALL OF THE SCRIPTURES. Also, why don't you try reading James 2:17-26 or did you skip over that. Pay attention to 24 and 26.
You don't even know how to use the scriptures within it's full context.
You're anger comes through the computer....lol. Harmonize the scriptures? That has NOTHING to do with the point of this discussion....THE POINT IS SALVATION IS NOT BY WORKS. There is NO scripture that supports your stance and the stance of the poster that it can be lost, kept, or taken away. By Grace we are saved through faith that is given....LOL
I have read and lived the word of God through my mistakes....that's why I don't take bits and peaces of scripture and distort it.......
Acts 10:48, Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16, 1 Peter 3:21, Acts 22:16, Gal 3:26-27. <- Proof that baptism is essential for salvation.
Matt 7:21, Acts 5:29, Hebrews 5:8-9, Rom 6:17, 2 Thess 1:8, 1 John 3:22, and Rom 16:26. <- All proof text that obedience is necessary. You are right, salvation is by grace but, it is through faith. A system of faith. You must do what is commanded in the New Testament in order to be saved. There is no denying that God's grace is what's saving us. But how do we get it?
There is no denying that God's grace is what's saving us. But how do we get it?
Your statement reflects your flawed thinking.....Get it? It's grace........there is NO attaining it. It's a gift.....
Proof that baptism is essential for salvation.
Baptism is an act of obedience and it has NOTHING 2 do with you being SAVED. I was baptized after I gave my life to the lord. You have NO understanding of scripture and yet you continue to paste scriptures....
Obviously you didn't read 1 Peter 3:21 then. Baptism does save. I post scriptures because I actually read them, comprehend them, and use them in the context given. You however, refuse to give any sort of scripture to attempt to prove your man-made belief. All you're doing is speaking of your opinion and I'm giving you things that come STRAIGHT from the gospel itself.
You aren't arguing against me. You're arguing against the gospel and it's sad that you don't understand.
LOL....I have read it. But just for you.......3:21 is referring to the days of Noah and it CLEARLY says.......SYMBOLIZES. Baptism symbolizes our death to our old selves.....Man made? U speak of man Made non-sense and you are clearly amongst the many distorting the word for your own appeasement.......u keep non believers from coming to Christ with this prove your salvation NON-Sense....I am not flawless Yet God does NOT see my sins because when he looks at me he sees his son For what HIS son did.
You stated in another post that you were saved by faith alone. You made it very clear that all you've done is said, "Lord I believe" and bam, you're saved. If that's how it's done then Satan himself would be saved. Matthew 7:21 proves that we must do God's will. So if we do not do what's commanded of us, then it's obvious that we are not saved. Grace doesn't fall upon those that just say, "I believe" and then they are automatically saved. You have yet to show proof text about anything.
you are right, salvation is not by works, but you must work in order to maintain it . look at james 2:24-You see then that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone".See i have proven that faith alone doesnt maintain your salvation, you must keep your faith alive with works.
Hello and thanks for posting. Works is a necessary by-product of faith. As the passage you quoted states, "faith without works is dead." Faith is what saves us, as we cannot do enough to earn salvation. It is by God's grace that we are saved. Many are confused by this and believe that just believing is enough. The passage also state that the devils also believe and tremble. If you have faith you will definitely have works. Faith is proven by works. I am glad we agree on this topic. GBU
You can't take one scripture and justify your whole belief system by it. You have to harmonize all scriptures. Just because the passage doesn't exactly state that, "NOW THIS ISN'T TALKING ABOUT SALVATION." - then that doesn't mean that it's not used as a reference proving that our belief shouldn't be faith alone since in James 2:24, that verse itself says- Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, AND NOT BY FAITH ONLY. John 6:29 just proves that doing works is part of FAITH.
And the word faith, you are also using out of context. You just expect me to believe that since you believe in Jesus then you are a christian and have been saved? No, I will not. Please explain to me all of the scriptures teaching about baptism and how it's commanded. You will once again have to twist the scriptures around just so it fits your belief. And just so you know, we CAN fall from grace. You obviously didn't read about that either. There are examples of men falling from grace.
1 Timothy 1:18-20, Gal 5:4-7, Hebrews 10:26, Jude 24, and 1 Timothy 4:1-3.
In 1 Timothy 4:1-3- It clearly states in the very first verse that- Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from THE FAITH, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. So tell me, why would it say "the faith" instead of just "faith"? I'll tell you why. Because when the bible talks about FAITH- it is talking about a SYSTEM of faith.
There is no such "Faith alone" belief taught in the scriptures. You are simply taking everything out of context wanting to make things complicated when everything is in simple terms for us. It isn't hard and you just have to love the truth enough in order to accept the real truth. Rev 22:18-19- Basically says, "Do not add, do not take away from the bible." and with your faith alone belief, you are simply doing that and you are wrong. You can't "kick and scream" your way out of this. It's obvious
Please show me where I added that to the scriptures...You have nothing to stand on. Faith Alone? I never said I was taught or believed in a? What did u call it? Faith belief......lol u take my words out of context....lol How can u speak of the word if can't understand a simple man.....
How is salvation lost if Jesus saved us on the cross? Salvation is never lost because he saved us. If it were lost, we would not have a relationship with God and not believed that he saved us before..
I am not exactly sure what you are saying here other then you disagree with me on this topic. I do not go by gut feelings but by the Bible only. 2nd Peter 2:20-22 speaks volumes. Ezekiel also speaks of this in several places. Either way it is important to know if you are saved now! A tree is known by it's fruit. Also no drunkard, fornicator, adulterer, and such will inherit the kingdom of God. Many believe they are still saved while living a life that is contrary to the Bible. God bless!
I will answer.....then you answer what 2nd Peter 2:20-22 means. Ok deal. Salvation is to be saved from something. Saved from the debt of sin if you choose to make Jesus your Lord and Master. John 8: 31Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; Colossians 1:23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel...
We must continue....now explain 2nd Peter 2:20-22. Thank you.
As usual no response to my question. Can you explain 2nd Peter 2:20-22 or not? The scriptures teach otherwise to eternal security. Conjecture is one thing....the scriptures are another.
I am on the verge of blocking you. You do not use scripture and do not answer questions. Just conjecture. Peter is a book of the Bible, that is what it has to do with it. Last time, how do you interpret
I get the jist of what yuo're saying, but I have a couple questions.
If its unto death then does that mean that if you commit the sin a single time that you have lost your salvation? I do agree that you must repent from that sin but if you willfully sin, does that mean that after every single willful sin we must get re-saved?
Hello and thank you for your question and comment. I do not know exactly when a person loses their salvation and believe that that is between God and the individual. The Bible describes those that will not inherit the kingdom of God and in these cases the Bible describes physical sin, not sins of the heart in the sense of emotional sins that fall short of the glory of God. At the point that you know that something is dead wrong and you are convicted of it, and you still do it, cont>>>
cont>>I believe that you would lose salvation after committing sin that you are convicted of. Again it is not for me to say when but I believe that direct transgression is a sin unto death. If you slip and curse I do not believe you would lose your salvation instantly but you cannot continue in that sin. If on the other hand you fornicate I believe you would lose your salvation instantly. I know it is a fine line but when God says not to do something we must obey Him or He is not our Lord. GBU
I do agree with you on this. I have seen pastors, preachers, and teachers of many years go back to a life of sin. Not only from a Biblical perspective, but it is very hard to believe these people return to drinking, fornicating and the like and were never saved. Some have even had a part in leading many to salvation. The Bible states that you cannot do these things and be saved. GBU
2nd Peter 2:20-22 is addressing First Century Jews who may have followed Christ and the Apostles teaching for a time, but as Jewish history was quickly coming to a close they chose to go back to the law, or a works salvation. The book of Galatians is all about this, how many of the Pharisees crept into the church and tried to lead the new Christians astray by having them circumcised. Also Heb 6:1-8. Jews who went back to the law, mixing law and grace, which Paul called another gospel Gal 1:6
Some of these other scriptures you quote do indeed speak of going back to the law. 2nd Peter I do not believe is. Yes the passage speaks of false teachers in the beginning but also goes on to say that they have eyes full of adultery, cannot cease from sin. Also the passage states that God did not spare the old world that sinned, speaking of Noah's time and Sodom and Gomorrah. Also He spared not the angels that sinned. They have escaped the pollutions, the sow that was washed returned. >>>
To me rather you think it is those that return to the law or return to outright sin of the world it would still say that these people are not saved any longer. They have escaped the pollutions of the world. They are again entangled therein and overcome. Regardless, I hope that there is one thing that we might agree on. A tree is known by it's fruit. I do not believe that in any state, a person can be a fornicator, adulterer, drunkard, or any of those other things and inherit the kingdom.GBU
Sorry to be so blunt, I just find this teaching offense and contrary to the true nature of the gospel of Jesus Christ. You quote from 1 Cor 6:9-10, but how about the next verse? "And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God." In other words, outside of Christ we were all those things (adulterer, murderer, etc..) but in Christ we have been made holy and without blame. See Col 1:21-22
Thank you for this reply. 1st Corinthians 6:11 to me is simply stating that before Christ, salvation, that such were some of you. Christ saves us from our sin, on this I am sure that we both can agree. Whatever sin you had before Christ you are washed of after salvation. This is what verse 11 seems to be saying. Nevertheless, the previous verses are very clear. Verses 9-10 state that you cannot be those types of people and inherit the kingdom of God. A tree is known by it's fruit. Thanks.
The sin unto death is self righteousness, or turning back to the law to save you...
You are preaching a works salvation, which is not the true gospel. You have disregarded much teaching such as James 2:10 and Matt 5. If you have had one evil thought in your entire life, you are guilty of all the law, that includes murder, adultery, and all kinds of sins. What you are teaching is blasphemy.
Thank you for your comment here. I understand what you are saying. I am not teaching that we are saved by the works of the law or that we must live perfect. I am teaching what I understand the sin unto death to be yes, but that is not the central theme of these videos. The central theme is that adulterers, fornicators, murderers, and the like will not inherit the kingdom of God. Also what is your understanding of 2nd Peter 2:20-22. I respect your opinion on this. We may disagree though. GB
You should repent of your sins and do good works by staying in church BECAUSE you were saved, NOT TO BE saved.
jgallete 3 months ago
Eph. 2:8,9 shows us that our attempts at any good deeds will never earn us a place in Heaven. Our past, present, or future sins can never be overcome or cancelled out by doing any amount of good works. If nothing but faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross for our sin can save us; than nothing can cause us to lose our salvation either.
jgallete 3 months ago
You might stop committing adultery, but you're not gonna stop looking at women with sexual desires and the Bible says it's still adultery (Matthew 5:28). Or if you hate someone or call them fool, you're committing murder in the eyes of God (Matthew 5:22), everybody lies everyday and I could go on and on about sins we commit every day. So are you telling me you deserve salvation just because you're in church? YOU DON'T. That's why Jesus died for us. Just so we could be justified.

correction: Acts 5:1-10...
brothersamuel100 7 months ago
… (5) And there is nothing in this Acts5:1-0 that says this couple went to hell, to say they did is pure assumption. The sin unto death is speaking of a literal death not a spiritual one. God Judges the hearts.
brothersamuel100 7 months ago
… (4)Therefore ‘the sin unto death’ is (Despising God's Chastening). That’s why we are told not to do THAT in both testaments (Prov.3:11-12, Heb.12:5-6). David committed murder yet he live to be a very old man, but yet a couple in Acts5:1-10 told a lie and died on the spot with no opportunity to repent... it not was their sins per-say that cause their un-timely deaths, but their hearts that was soaked in refusing God's correction. They died literally.
brothersamuel100 7 months ago
… (3)Again more info is needed! Question: Are there any verses that clearly show what the sin unto death is? YES, there are many! Two in particular are (Prov.29:1, 2Chron.36:11-16) However there is nothing in these verses that say or imply that the sin unto death means one loses their soul. In short as YOU said, it is when we refuse to repent though God has warned us many times.
brothersamuel100 7 months ago
… (2)You're reading too much into the text! And you’re double talking, you hint around it and yet at the same you associated murder, fornication, and adulatory as being sins unto to death. Again the text shows that the sin unto death is singular and not plural as in one and not many. And you are assuming when u say that the sin-s unto to death are murder, fornication, and adulatory, why is this? Because 1John5:16-17 doesn't identify it by name.
brothersamuel100 7 months ago
(1)The sin unto death (1John.5:16-17) is singular and not plural as U have supposed, the text doesn't tell us what the sin unto death is, therefore more info is needed. With that said, the text is in NO way implies or say that the sin unto death means u lose your salvation, yet it clearly implies you can died an untimely death (Ecc 7:17).
brothersamuel100 7 months ago
there is a person that died in his sins and yet his spirit will be saved on the Lord's day,(1Cor.

… (6)All the verses you use in your video to prove your belief are taken out of context and put into a pretext. Must of the people that does this are not aware they are doing it! They are considering the context as they interpret based partial quotes. Yet my explanation is what we call contextual consideration; in short, interpretation MUST be based on all facts concerning a topic.
brothersamuel100 7 months ago
… (5)This is another deceitful example were a single verse is taken out of context and put in to a pretext. For the sake of your soul man “YOUCAN’T BUILD A DOCTRINE ON A PARTIAL QUOTES ON A VERSES!) You’re preaching a grace-less gospel! And please let’s not play tug-of-war with the Bible, if you’re wrong, you are wrong, just repent. I assure you that God can and will forgive you of your error.
brothersamuel100 7 months ago
… (4)The Bible clearly teaches us that Moses, David, Isaac, Solomon, and Noah were all men of God, declared righteous by God because of their faith, NOT because they were not without sins. In short my friend, “it’s called the mercy and grace of God” So please stop fighting against God Sir and relax from your self-righteous works and learn to be content with what Jesus has done for you. It is by faith in Jesus’ redemptive work alone that we come into God’s mercy and grace!
brothersamuel100 7 months ago
NO!
brothersamuel100 7 months ago
… (2)First of all that verse understood in its context services as a warning to those who are not saved and un-repented of their sin. These people are living in full-blown sins with no regard to God what-so-ever! These are not Christians, but the unbelieving world. Now back to your statement, (A murderer, liar, fornicator, adulator, and a drunker, THESE TPYES OF PEOPLE WILL NOT WILL NOT INHERENT THE KINGOM OF GOD).
brothersamuel100 7 months ago
(1)Respectfully Sir you said that, (certain people will not inherent the kingdom of God) (this of course is found in Rev.7:8) you farther listed certain evil-doers; such as (A murderer, liar, fornicator, adulator, and a drunkard) you went on to say, that, the Bible is very clear, (THESE TPYES OF PEOPLE WILL NOT WILL NOT INHERENT THE KINGOM OF GOD).

My question is why pray for the one who sins not unto death and not for the one who sins unto death? if you can repent in either circumstance why not pray in either case, in the hope that they may repent?
thank you!
God bless, brother!
rtslayer 1 year ago

That man is the man with the plank in his eye.
sailing19100 1 year ago
About adultery, not only one time, as David did, but even if you think it in your mind, according to Jesus. To measure sin in ourselves or others turns out to be a futile pursuit; sin is carnality, and if it appears in the body, that is only a manifestation of what already occured in the soul.
sailing19100 1 year ago
Friends, if you are living in sin, please repent. If you have been born again and have turned your back on God, repent and turn back to Him now. Live good and stand for truth. Wake up before it is too late, and you can spend forever with the Lord in heaven.
bonedrag8621 1 year ago
Surely we are not holy to the point where if we was to die today.. then what sin would God find in our hearts? Thus, none of us would make it to heaven because we are not in the image of christ till our ressurection.
Therefor, the once saved always saved must apply. A drunkard who has christ does not enjoy his drunkard. He is sad.. and thinks how much he hates himself for drinking away his life. Surely Gods power will intervene.
Defender2516 1 year ago
There is only one Person satisfied in salvation,God.If God is satisfied with Jesus, can He can become un satisfied ?.......And such were some of you a drunkard.thief, murderer. but now are you washed etec. The sin unto death is physical death.Christ cannot be un satisfied to God by what a sinner does. When we say the Atonement is controlled by behavior it is saying Christ is not always satisfactory to God unless man puts him on the cross takes him off the cross etc.Man cannot control salvation
polopowers1 1 year ago
Does that mean we loose our salvation everyday? by the little sins we make?? How we know when we lost it and when the alvation is back? Do we record everysin or sinful thoughts we have to repent and what if we forget one sin?
OMANI91 2 years ago
There is a sin unto death and a sin not unto death, as the Bible teaches. You cannot be a fornicator, for instance, and be a child of God. If you lack the proper patience one day this is not unto spiritual death. We all fall short of God's holiness and perfectness everyday but that does not mean that all sin will cost us our salvation. The Bible is clear that no liar, drunkard, murderer, etc. will inherit the kingdom of God. We know we are saved because we keep His Commandments. God bless!
mtzion211 2 years ago
I believe that we can be sinlessly perfect.... Jesus said to be perfect becuase he is perfect

GraceSon3 2 years ago
You are dead wrong on this topic period. The beginning of the chapter is indeed about false prophets but 2nd Peter 2:20-22 is clear. "For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge on Lord and Savior Jesus Christ they are again entangled." The people have escaped. These people are again entangled therein. This is speaking of sows that were washed returning to the mire. No offense but it is people like you that have adulterers going to heaven. What a lie.
mtzion211 2 years ago
No man can walk this earth sinless. No man!!! His blood covers our sins...Period.
The greatest sin.......is denying Christ....Period. If you give your life to Christ you are changed. That's why u feel guilt you never felt b4.
I can't believe you spoke of Judas....He is the prime example of most fake Christians today....and you thought he was a believer?
GraceSon3 2 years ago

I know it..That's why I asked God to lead me to the truth and take my fear of it away . Take care.
Wildputycat 2 years ago
If any of you don't believe I'm telling you the truth (my story), here are some scriptures from the bible that supports this fact that salvation can be lost. The Bible warns Christians that they can 'fall from grace' in Galatians 5:1-5; be 'cut off from salvation' in Romans 11:18-22; 'have their names removed from the Lamb's Book of Life' in Revelations 22:19; and by committing certain sins and not repenting of them, in Ephesians 5:3-5, 1 Corinthians 6:9, Galatians 5:19 and Revelations 21:6-8.
Wildputycat 2 years ago
mtzion211, I am going to back you up on this topic. If readers would like a personal example of how you can lose your salvation, read my story posted in comments section of mtzion211's video called SALVATION CAN BE LOST IF YOU TURN! HERE IS WHY!
Wildputycat 2 years ago
Thank you very much. Many disagree with this teaching as you are aware from your past. Thank you for your positive comments. They are certainly encouraging and I am thankful that you see this important truth! God bless!
mtzion211 2 years ago
You are suggesting that our works secure our salvation when our works did nothing to attain it. You speak about things that ONLY God can know. That is the motives of a mans heart. You say that if someone is truly saved then after that you will NEVER sin again or struggle with your sin. I am saved....COMPLETELY by Faith ALONE. I turned from my ways yet I still had struggles to deal with. You're suggesting that NO ONE sins after being born again. U forget his blood covers our ENTIRE breathe. FAITH
GraceSon3 2 years ago
Thank you for posting. You have misunderstood what I am saying. I never said that we do not struggle with temptation. Being tempted and committing the act is two different things. We are saved by grace because none of us deserve salvation. This does not mean that because it is grace that we cannot lose salvation, no more than grace would automatically give salvation. As an example, how can a preacher that commits adultery still be saved when no adulterer will enter the kingdom of God?
mtzion211 2 years ago
Also I would like to get your opinion on two things. 1) What does Jesus mean when He states that a tree is know by it's fruit, A good tree cannot produce corrupt fruit and corrupt tree cannot produce good fruit. 2) How do you interpret 2nd Peter 2:20-22. Thanks and God bless!
mtzion211 2 years ago
You are a hypocrite and should study the scriptures more closely. Faith IS a work so to say that "works did nothing to attain our salvation", you are simply denying your own false faith-alone doctrine. John 6:29
I suggest that you turn away from Faith-Alone, it's leading you into the path of destruction.
mastersniperjinx 2 years ago
Faith is an act not a work.....My faith onto salvation was given to me as well...It is by GRACE not by WORKS. So I think I'll stick with the cross and what Christ did for me and not what I do for me......God Bless
GraceSon3 2 years ago
You are blind. I gave you a scripture proving that faith is a work and you refuse to believe it? LOL, and you claim that you follow Jesus. Blinded by the lies of the devil that deceives you. I think you should stick to what the scriptures say and not what your "man-made" beliefs teach.
John 6:29- Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the WORK of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
You take the word "faith" out of context as it is anyways. You should listen to my videos.
mastersniperjinx 2 years ago
LOL.......apparently you can read but you can't understand.......it IS GRACE ALONE NOT of ourselves that NO MAN shall boast....like urself....lol!!!! All have fallen short......too many people like yourself claim to know the word......I have read the bible from cover to cover multiple times.....U need to learn how to interpret scripture. The faith to believe is giving to us....that's why some are called and some are NOT.
GraceSon3 2 years ago
My videos are me giving SCRIPTURAL PROOF that FAITH ALONE does NOT save a man. In fact, if you were to read James 2:17-26, then you would see that your so called "faith alone" belief is a bunch of crap. Your man-made beliefs is taking you down the road of destruction and instead of worrying about what your peers will say, you should start studying the scriptures and use them to your advantage. Stop relying on men telling you what to believe in. USE THE SCRIPTURES! THEY ARE THERE FOR A REASON!
mastersniperjinx 2 years ago
GB
mtzion211 2 years ago
And also, it is by grace THROUGH faith. Not just "grace". Like I said, you really need to study the scriptures. lol...
mastersniperjinx 2 years ago
John 6:29 does NOT speak of salvation through works......lol. The will of the Father is that ALL accept his son, but that faith is not of man but giving by the holy spirit......your confusion is obvious and I'm sorry 2 tell u....U can work alll u want and u will be nothing but condemned in the sight of God.....Keep reading please........
How bout you read.....verse 36. Once saved in Christ always saved.......
GraceSon3 2 years ago
Not only have you openly admitted that man does not have free will, but now you are saying that John 6:29 isn't talking about salvation through works? I never said that it was talking about SALVATION. But it does talk about WORKS- and guess what, you have to HARMONIZE ALL OF THE SCRIPTURES. Also, why don't you try reading James 2:17-26 or did you skip over that. Pay attention to 24 and 26.
You don't even know how to use the scriptures within it's full context.
mastersniperjinx 2 years ago

But how do we get it?
mastersniperjinx 2 years ago
There is no denying that God's grace is what's saving us. But how do we get it?
Your statement reflects your flawed thinking.....Get it? It's grace........there is NO attaining it. It's a gift.....
Proof that baptism is essential for salvation.
Baptism is an act of obedience and it has NOTHING 2 do with you being SAVED. I was baptized after I gave my life to the lord. You have NO understanding of scripture and yet you continue to paste scriptures....
GraceSon3 2 years ago
Obviously you didn't read 1 Peter 3:21 then. Baptism does save. I post scriptures because I actually read them, comprehend them, and use them in the context given. You however, refuse to give any sort of scripture to attempt to prove your man-made belief. All you're doing is speaking of your opinion and I'm giving you things that come STRAIGHT from the gospel itself.
You aren't arguing against me. You're arguing against the gospel and it's sad that you don't understand.
mastersniperjinx 2 years ago
LOL....I have read it. But just for you.......3:21 is referring to the days of Noah and it CLEARLY says.......SYMBOLIZES. Baptism symbolizes our death to our old selves.....Man made? U speak of man Made non-sense and you are clearly amongst the many distorting the word for your own appeasement.......u keep non believers from coming to Christ with this prove your salvation NON-Sense....I am not flawless Yet God does NOT see my sins because when he looks at me he sees his son For what HIS son did.
GraceSon3 2 years ago

DictatorStatus 2 years ago
Hello and thanks for posting. Works is a necessary by-product of faith. As the passage you quoted states, "faith without works is dead." Faith is what saves us, as we cannot do enough to earn salvation. It is by God's grace that we are saved. Many are confused by this and believe that just believing is enough. The passage also state that the devils also believe and tremble. If you have faith you will definitely have works. Faith is proven by works. I am glad we agree on this topic. GBU
mtzion211 2 years ago
You can't take one scripture and justify your whole belief system by it. You have to harmonize all scriptures. Just because the passage doesn't exactly state that, "NOW THIS ISN'T TALKING ABOUT SALVATION." - then that doesn't mean that it's not used as a reference proving that our belief shouldn't be faith alone since in James 2:24, that verse itself says- Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, AND NOT BY FAITH ONLY. John 6:29 just proves that doing works is part of FAITH.
mastersniperjinx 2 years ago
And the word faith, you are also using out of context. You just expect me to believe that since you believe in Jesus then you are a christian and have been saved? No, I will not. Please explain to me all of the scriptures teaching about baptism and how it's commanded. You will once again have to twist the scriptures around just so it fits your belief. And just so you know, we CAN fall from grace. You obviously didn't read about that either. There are examples of men falling from grace.
mastersniperjinx 2 years ago
1 Timothy 1:18-20, Gal 5:4-7, Hebrews 10:26, Jude 24, and 1 Timothy 4:1-3.
In 1 Timothy 4:1-3- It clearly states in the very first verse that- Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from THE FAITH, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. So tell me, why would it say "the faith" instead of just "faith"? I'll tell you why. Because when the bible talks about FAITH- it is talking about a SYSTEM of faith.
mastersniperjinx 2 years ago
There is no such "Faith alone" belief taught in the scriptures. You are simply taking everything out of context wanting to make things complicated when everything is in simple terms for us. It isn't hard and you just have to love the truth enough in order to accept the real truth. Rev 22:18-19- Basically says, "Do not add, do not take away from the bible." and with your faith alone belief, you are simply doing that and you are wrong. You can't "kick and scream" your way out of this. It's obvious

2nd Peter 2:20-22?

ElectRonPaul2008 2 years ago
Thank you for your comment here. I understand what you are saying. I am not teaching that we are saved by the works of the law or that we must live perfect. I am teaching what I understand the sin unto death to be yes, but that is not the central theme of these videos. The central theme is that adulterers, fornicators, murderers, and the like will not inherit the kingdom of God. Also what is your understanding of 2nd Peter 2:20-22. I respect your opinion on this. We may disagree though. GB
