Jesus taught his followers to go from house to house. He wants more people to become disciples. Jehovah's Witness are following Jesus our Lord. Read Acts 5:42, "...from house to house they continued ..declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus." Acts14:21,"...making quite a few disciples,..." Acts 20:20-"...teaching you publicly and from house to house." Jesus commands his disciples to make more disciples. READ Matthew 28:19,20-"Go therefore and make disciples of people..."

I had some friends growing up that attended prom and their dad weren't elders and their families were considered hardly active in field service. Their meeting attendance wasn't great either. Even if they did, I doubt that privacy laws would allow them to divulge that information on the phone to a complete stranger. It also proves that they took the time to see if there was more specific information to give to someone they thought was another genuine JW in order to encourage him.... But, people did not want to submit to their authority, so, they divorced themselves from the Church and made their own, and their children made theirs and so on until about 1850 when some guy made up this JW stuff. i've seen many cases of disfellowshipped individuals. Actually, the elders try to help them first. They gie the person involved advices on what to do, but if after that they still fail to correct themselves, they get disfellowshipped. it's a resort
one time, a sister was having sexual affair with a married man. the elder called for her. Advised her to not ever see the man again and repent by doing what is good. but she was caught again, given another chance, and caught again. The elders saw that she's not intent on repenting, so she was disfellowshiped

Surely the branch could answer that question. They didn't, because the headquarters almost at all times will not answer questions that can in any way compromise them. I dont go to the Kingdom Hall but this guy really helps people to want to go to the hall. Because he ultimately has minor arguements and then blows them up and tries to make them big. Fascinating! So it proves that the Watchtower does not have lists of all JWs..... well, I knew that already. Even if they did, I doubt that privacy laws would allow them to divulge that information on the phone to a complete stranger. It also proves that they took the time to see if there was more specific information to give to someone they thought was another genuine JW in order to encourage him.... Whether Prince is a JW or not, who cares?

I never understood that whole disfellowship thing. I mean who gives a person the authority to basically cast someone by the wayside. I would think that you would be willing to help your fallen brother in his time of need, not kick them to the side like trash. Maybe i'm ill informed so please explain this disfellowship thing if you would?

Yes, kelly, He gave it to the apostles who passed it on to their successors. But, people did not want to submit to their authority, so, they divorced themselves from the Church and made their own, and their children made theirs and so on until about 1850 when some guy made up this JW stuff. So, the JW situation is just a bunch of silly confabulation. Try the original Church.

i've seen many cases of disfellowshipped individuals. Actually, the elders try to help them first. They gie the person involved advices on what to do, but if after that they still fail to correct themselves, they get disfellowshipped. it's a resort

There was no demand for perfection. Just a simple question: Is the individual in question, the one that the phonecall is about, a Jehovah's Witness? Yes or No! Very simple. Surely the branch could answer that question. They didn't, because the headquarters almost at all times will not answer questions that can in any way compromise them. This is consistent with the fact that Jehovah's Witnesses never admits a mistake or that they are wrong about something: Never ever!

simple. because that's the main office. if you want to get an accurate info on whether a specific individual is baptized or not, contact the congregation he is associated with. the reason the guy on the phone asked a request in writing, is so that the request could be formalized to make a search of the huge database of millions

I dont go to the Kingdom Hall but this guy really helps people to want to go to the hall. Because he ultimately has minor arguements and then blows them up and tries to make them big. He has emotional and mental problems and was probably never of the anointed at all, or his wife. His appeal recording shows how silly he is and how intelligent the elders handled it. Thanks I actually would rather go to the Kingdom Hall after listening to this guy because he is crazy.
