Dennis Wilson was a genius like his brother Brian. Dennis had his own demons, like Brian did. The Wilson brothers, including Carl, got little love from their father Murry Wilson. Their father left scars that never healed for the brothers. Beautiful music emeregd from the sadness of the Wilson family.

One sad day back in 1978 , I had to put my beloved SheepDog, "Bear", 'to sleep' because of cancer. That night, I sat in a limosine with Carl and Dennis after a show in Providence, R.I. Carl was very nice as always, but quiet. Dennis really consoled me, Naturally, LOL, Denny tried to pick up my gf. was the night either after the famous BBs fight. Mike was with Brian in a Police car. Al was in another limo, and Carl and Denny in another. A Wild Situation JHP

@Verniegirl9 Not a fight as in a fistfight, and I wasn't there. I just remember reading about it in Rolling Stone magazine so many years ago. I seem to remember them as descriving it as a like a scene out of the movie 'Casablanca'. Dennis was quoted as saying it would be remembered as the night the Beach Boys broke up or words to that effect. It was along time ago. When I saw them, they entered from oppositite sides of the stage and most everyone road in different cars when they left.
