Can you say "cross-contamination"??? He touches the spinach and crab with both hands - then reaches into the salt & pepper with his right hand....

Soooo - now we have raw veggie (salmonella or E Coli anyone?) and crab goo (I don't have space to list all the scary stuff that can cause) in the salt and pepper he uses in other dishes *gack*

And this guy's a professional????

another catch to the name (adding on to sexyfire00) is the "drop". As you can see your finished product doesnt have the strands of egg whites, its because the egg whites didnt cook properly or even cook for that matter. the egg is commonly beaten and "dropped" into the boiling soup base.

Crab in egg drop soup?!?! LOL the kind I grew up with has egg only, hence the name "egg" drop soup.

This one here sounds good too, but those allergic to crab who just want simple egg drop soup won't know there's crab in ur soup lol :)

In general it sounds good with crab but it'll then not be simple, and be called "egg drop soup w/ crab"
