  • Theonly challenges faced by the mongols where the Mamluks against Huluga Khan. And why is there no mention of bekter, Khasar, Kaichun, or Temuge in the movie.

  • @metalspoon60 I was also wondering why there is no mentioning his brothers as they an integral part into his life

  • mogols or spartans every one knows punjabis are the best

  • Comment removed

  • Mongols would win hands down. They have speed, mobility, endurance, and range. Even if the Spartans went neo from the matrix on the Mongol calvary archers. Mongols can ride back to camp, reload and do it all over again. In addition, they also have the cavalry charge.

  • fuck shit !!!

o men wat the fucker mother fucker !!

  • Also, he was a direct descent of the second son of Genghis Khan, very popular in China

  • That actor acting Esugei was an ethnic mongolian from China, his name should be Basen, and he acted as Genghis Khan in the TV series "Genghis Khan" in China

  • anyone knew where part 1 went?

  • yes, the Mongols look like Koreans/Manchurians, and if you combine the two, you have Japanese.

  • chingis khan was beast

  • IF YOU WANNA KNOW ABOUT THE MONGOLS, YOU MUST LEARN MONGOLIAN LANGUAGE. DOCUMENTS IN OTHER LANGUAGE ARE A MISTHOUGHT.

  • @WorldMongolMusic

It is considered very bad manners to write in CAPITAL LETTERS. That is shouting. Even the Mongols had strict rules of courtesy.

  • They should continue with its sequel...

  • so those savages defeated by Muslims at the end

  • @almurabiton Huh? Far from that. The Mongols conquer Persia and most of South West Asia. The Egyptian "victory" was nothing special. The main forces of the Mongolian Army and it's general return to Mongolia, to ensure stability in the empire, before the Egyptian even plot a attack.

  • Depending on where it happened. The spartan phalanx would get shit on in an open plain, but if for example, thermoplae, the spartans all day

  • @iGravitee

Phalanx is a ancient macedonian army and has nothing to do with sparta

  • @selfspk You're incorrect. The phalanx was the typical fighting formation of the ancient Greeks before Phillip and Alexander, but Phillip adapted the phalanx in his own unique way.

  • i wander if spartans and mongols met in battle... what would be the outcome

  • @AdeptusAntares Mongols. Their cavalry archers would easily hammer them with arrows. The Mongolian is bow far better than that of the crappy Persian bow. The Mongol bow and arrow can penetrate the best steel armor of the German with ease. The Mongol are master of mobile fighting in the Medieval Era. Before, the Spartan knows it, the Mongol would already surround them. It do not matter if you got over a decade of fighting experience. Since, you are too weak to fight without food.

  • @AdeptusAntares thats not possible the mongols are from the medival times and the spartans are form the B.Cs

  • @quinnthin12345

Uh, I think that person knows that. It was just a hypothetical. >.>

  • @roseminty oh

  • @AdeptusAntares Mongols had numbers Spartans had quality

  • @ilmedico13 I prefer quality then number

  • @Asrvn147014x so do I

    but sometimes are the same

    :-)

  • @ilmedico13 but the mongols were almost always outnumbered

  • @ilmedico13 mongols had a quality different than spartan, spartans worked in phalanx a mongol horse archer unit of same size could take them down quite easily on plains, they were horse archers not melee fighters and both were best at what they did

  • @4uviki no I disagree Sparta was and still is a very small city in southern Greece, that defeated a huge empire that of Persia. Mongols although in a different era were a middle size nation of central Asia, they had population that Sparta never had. Spartans spent the whole of their life in military training while Mongols were occupied in many other professions. The quality of an army is not always judged by the military tactics but also by the individual merits of the fighters.

  • @4uviki and most of all an army of Mongols would never defeat an army of Spartans of any size proportion. The fame of undefeated the Spartans have is not accidental while the Mongols haven't got any military fame at all.

They created an empire by their numbers but the spartans were defeating empires out of their quality.

  • @ilmedico13 yeah whatever

  • @AdeptusAntares The spartan will learn to speak mongol and dress like them and learn to like mao zethong

  • i never heard of this film, so far so great.

  • @AdeptusAntares depends, mongols do well on the plains and spartans in narrow passes =P

  • @AdeptusAntares mongol light horse archers on plain and spartans in a thermopylae like setup

  • @AdeptusAntares Mongols were strong in open areas and spartans were strong in closed areas. The defender would have the advantage. Mongols lived in a very open area. Spartans on the other hand had lots of mountains and sea so narrow areas wouldnt be too hard to find.

Spartans would probably have more success in attacking than mongols because of their huge shields. They would just block all the arrows and the mongols would be forced to switch to hand to hand combat... We all know who would win.

  • @Eestlaneonvisa True! Mongols only strong weapon is the bow, but spartans are good at using swords.

  • @AdeptusAntares Mongols dude.. i read that when Genghis tried to enter Europe that the Greek, Romans and some other group had to join forces to defeat him. I remember reading that if they hadn't done that most Europeans today would've been slant eyed.

  • @stylezofom

Neither the greek nor romans fought mongols.

  • @stylezofom you are talking about Attila and the Huns.

  • @TheGaka7 yes. my mistake

  • @stylezofom it was the poles and lithuians that joined forces against Genghis and they where slaughtered but the mongols thought the ar,y the fought was only the vanguard of a much larger force and didnt push any further into europe

  • @SooSneeky yeah i got it wrong. i was talking about Atilla the Hun

  • @AdeptusAntares Mongols were pure light and heavy cavalry and spartans were pure heavy infantry. The mongols would destroy the spartans the same way Parthia destroyed the roman legions in Carrhea.

  • why they are not translating the word Tengri? it means sky

  • I thought Genghis Khan was almost a God when I was little. He was my very first hero.

***to those arguing here,..QUIT,QUIT,QUIT IT! You are all just silly.

  • They took water from the radiator and added to the dye. Because of this, killing 20 people and poisoned another 1,000. I could endlessly enumerate such incidents

  • @antaeus95 Alexander took over the known world. However you can't make a decent post on youtube.

  • @PoliticallyCensored So did Genghis Khan and his sons. They took over all of china and expanded into europe. And the mognol empire took over the lands that Alexander the great once conquered.

  • Mongolian and Turkish people may be brothers but their races are differant. Turks are in the turanoid type of europid race(caucasoid race), but mongols are in mongoloid race.Turks appeared by the mixing of finno-ugorics with some amerindians. However Mongols appeared after some another amerindians evaluated into mongoloids. So we can say turks and mongols are very distant relatives. But we can claim such a relativity also for turks and scandinavians because of Turks’ finno-ugoric roots.

  • @AlbertNexter

How are you sure China is going to invade?

Well thank god there is no Soviet Union because then Russia can't take advantage of the people it controlled. Russians didn't fight the wars in Afghanistan but the people from the provinces did. It would be funny to see Russians use Mongolians (which I doubt cuz they aren't weak to fight you all off) in the war against China.

  • I am Russian and I lived in Ulaanbaatar, from 3 to 18 years. Then I went to Russia and even some fighting in Chechnya and received a medal of Suvorov. I believe that Russia and Mongolia are two brotherly countries and no one can break the union. I'm going to fight for Mongolia, if China invades it. When I lived in Mongolia, I remember how we were going with the Mongols and Russian, and we were going to beat the Chinese).

  • @AlbertNexter You and anyone else who thinks China is invading ANYWHERE is absolutely retarded. China will and cannot invade any country and won't . Tibet . That's another issue. Right now China is on the verge of becoming the super power of the world for one reason only. Economy , if China plays its cards right, it'll be the new America. Even then , they wouldn't invade anyone. Or they would get absolutely destroyed by the united nations. Learn some fucking politics before you say such dumb bs

  • @EmerylolxD I do not quite understand you.In Russia the number of illegal immigrants from China from 1 million people. They mostly work on underground factories and produce shoddy goods.Almost every market is full of Chinese. They filled in everything. The police did not do Mauger, because they are bribed. Not long ago was closed Cherkizovsky market. After that crime has increased 10 times. Not so long ago were covered with a clandestine factory for the production of Coca-Cola beverages.

  • @EmerylolxD

It has long been known that China holds most of its territory in Siberia. But the Chinese government is not stupid to take it by force, violating all laws of the world. So quiet is invisible occupation of Siberia Chinese. Although if you lived there you would have noticed it.

  • @Bertionis144 Still doesn't change the fact that all these retards talk about war as if its going to happen some time soon. One day war will come, but not fucking China vs Mongolia or Russia. (China can't invade Russia, its tactically impossible)

  • @EmerylolxD yeah whatever keep churning what your history teacher told you.

  • damn... they skiped the big fight part. :/

  • Tengri is angry XO

  • You little bastard lmao

  • @DPOL87 no he said muu gichii which means you bitch lol xD

  • Can't we just enjoy the movie...

  • goo(dot)gl/RMLzP The Mongol Empire emerged from the unification of [Mongol] and [Turkic] tribes in the region of modern-day Mongolia under the leadership of Genghis Khan,

  • goo(dot)gl/T43eh

  • was caused by Great Wall of China :) the Chinese for fear of the Turks

  • Uhh... The Turks are not descendants of Mongols, they are descendants of The Huns and no Genghis Khan was not a Hun he was a Mongol.

  • The following link will bring you to a great documentary about the Mongols.

    /watch?v=SwvIwOgowNQ

  • Turks were nomadic people in Central Asia

    ''Mongolia etc etc''

  • This is not true story, sorry man. Mongolian lives in Between Russian and china still now. Mongolian not turkish, not chinese, not russian. They are really pure Nomads.

  • @skinny5551 nerd

  • We Turks are descendants of Mongols

  • DSCHINGISKAHN;MONGOLS;GOKTURKS;SELCUKS;TURKS!

  • but all historians admit that Tatars who killed Gengiz Khans dead were Turks

  • translation is really bad , so wrong

  • the mongols are asians from the steppes and the tartars are turkish people also from the steppes. understand i know cause i'm a tartar

  • The Mongols were Asian from the Steppes . They lived in the northern area that borders between Russia and China . This is Genghis Khan the Asian founder of the Mongolian Empire . And the Mongols are from Asia not Turkey seriously . Those who think the Mongols are Turks really have no sense of history .

  • it should be TEMUCHIN

  • 4 idiots thought this movie was turkish history

  • turks are decendents of the mongols

they are both from the altaic family

  • who the fuck said this was Turkish are you serious the movie is all about Mongolians the title says Mongol how the fuck can this be Turkish dumb people

  • thank you for posting this. even after 2 years it is still in brillant quality.

  • When is the second part of the movie coming out? anyone know? I enjoyed this very much!

  • no, thunder means the kamikaze is about to pwn you and all the other Mongols

  • Mongolian history is linked with turks' history.Who of us doesnt know that ghengis khans army was full of turks ?It is not barely absurd to say that there is partly turks' history.

  • @STARSxXxRPD i always thought the army of The Khan was made up many different races and religions, that is another reason why he, and his descendants, were Great men; a rule of equality between all, the same law for everyone. There was a city, also, that was the capital ( i think ) of the Mongol empire which is still being excavated. It already shows just how diverse they were, all abiding by the laws of their Khan; co-exist, encourage trade, literacy and freedom of life. break laws = death.

  • @Dainathian then you are mistaken. There werent many different races in it.If you mean tribes as kazakh,kyrgyz,tatar...they are turk anyways.Plus:It is well know that mongols were in respect of number inferiror so turks as closest neighbors were also welcome. Both had tengrism as religion. The only racial and religious diversities were at recently conquered areas. The leading power was mongol and turk itself, without them nothing would serve khagan. The loyalty to khagan was turks and mongols culture.

  • Mongol empire is beaten by Ming Dynasty .

  • @erdallayken what a load of crap... have u actually read any history to come up with that rubbish???

  • Can't help but notice similiarities from Siberia to the Native Americans. Shamans, tribal lifestyles etc. Is it anything to do with the fact there may have been a land bridge between Asia and Alaska? Also to say there's a facial resemblance. Any suggestions?

  • @Kelly14UK

    Yes you are correct.

They migrated during the Paleolithic ice age. All the Indian populations derived from the Siberian Tungus population.

  • @kingmafi6699 Thanks. I knew there was something there.

  • @Kelly14UK thats one theory

  • 3:18 Girls Got attitude :D lol

  • is it russian movie? language is mongolan or russian?

  • what a scary environment...vengeful mother...

  • bitch should have kept her mouth shut.

  • mongols (cengizhan) =hun (oğuz kağan or metehan) =göktürk( bilge kağan) = TÜRK

  • "mongols dont kill children!!"

that only applies to other mongols, not muslim or chinese or russian

  • @ulongkoror every nation killed children, learn the history.

  • @3tastudent

nope china never massacres civilians,so chinese never killed children unless the other army has child soldiers in them

it is basicly human honour, that you should not kill civilians in war,a war is between two governments and two armies, leave the average citizen alone.which is a logic that the mongols, the germans and the japanese could never understand

  • @ulongkoror nice, you sure you ever read history? I won't blame you since you are 15, so you will probably learn what kind of being a human is. And Chinese are human.

  • @3tastudent

you say i dont read history?go find me a file that talks about a case of chinese massacring civilians.and i was talking about ancient history, the ancient chinese, not like 1989 riot in tiannanmen square,in that case people killed were university students, not 10 year olds,so no,china didnt kill kids

and if you got no actual arguements and just gonna cling onto my age as some kind of excuse,go ahead, live in your little hole and believe whatever you want to believe

  • @ulongkoror You're too naive, it's that simple. Which country would let a historian write about children being killed? Use your common sense if you think that I shouldn't use your age as an excuse. Imagine there is a huge army that comes from war and a city full of woman and children. What you think would happen to them? You think they would laugh at them and say "hey, we killed your man and fathers but we won't touch you even though we are your enemy". Get real.

  • @ulongkoror hey man, ALL races on earth have killed children at one time or another, for one reason or another. We have raped, murderd, tortured...everything, and the Chinese are DEFINATLEY no exception. This fact shouldn't be used to discredit another race, it's merely one of those things about being human. To believe that the Chinese would never, have never done this is truely naive, and misinformed, on your part.

  • @ulongkoror I don't know what you have been reading man but you obviously haven't beein reading enough. You are completely wrong, and VERY naive.

  • Want to know more of the mongols and GENGHIS ? Read Conn iguldens books..they are extremely good

  • cool

  • Lol @ them hatin ass niggaz @ 0:58

  • the cinematography in this movie, the landscapes.... combined with the music and the loneliness of the story... it's impossible to describe!

the only phrase that i can thing of is "heart-wrenching"...

  • ene temujind togloson bandi ohin shg haragdaad bhiin ter malgatai keke~ter esuheid togloj bga jujigchin uvur mongoliin sain jujigchin shuu? im wondering why i ve never seen this moviebefore.. keke~

  • pure blood mongolians have eastern asian look, they have NOTHING to do with turks

  • @jeffrey71028 that's true. watch this video ==>"Kiratas:the Himalayas Race"

where you see more Mongoloid race.

  • @jeffrey71028 im with u on that one turk are just beggars

  • they are not turkish..cuz turks want to become in europe...mongols are from asia...that's why europe callled turks a sick man of europe...hahahhaha

  • For a bunch of people who lives in dirt and never bathes or cleans.... they sure do have sleek clean hair

  • I believe, some of the actors were turk.. Because, they don't really speak fluent Mongolian.

  • @TheGuyWithDaFace some from china i think and they are two kind of mongolians the ones live in inner mongolia and outer i think lol am mongolian and i dont khow much about my country the one in mongolia speak ok and am from capital

  • @TheGuyWithDaFace no the ones who are not speaking fluently in mongolia are inner Mongolians. they have different accents. outer Mongolians we speak well. also inner mongolians speak in chinese(mandarin)

  • whoever say this is turkic is gay.. they dont even look turkic

  • Comment removed

  • Mongols are not Turks. If you look at depictions of Mongols in European art, Chinese art, and Arabic Art, Mongols are all portrayed with narrow eyes, and light skin.

Don't confuse Turks with Mongols. Tatars lived West of the area where Mongols dwelled.

  • Vot Targutai igral v Soldaty VOt TUNDRA pokazal sebya

  • over mongol sdanuud zailaaa mongol kinod yaaagaaad mongol huniig togluuluulaaagui yum vee>>>!>!>!!?!?!?!??!!?" in a mongolian movie why is chinese mongolians playing it>>>? why isnt there a pure mongolian that can speak pure mongolian playing the khan??? shitballs fucknigger shit mother fucking chinses fuck ou

  • they married quiet soon, around 14 years old.

  • @telebusu yeh, i guess they never knew when they might get killed so they had to do it early

  • If he was aa turk then do you understand this language??? hehehe i dun't think so

  • @ergejtorohguinegen bro i can assure its like outer mongolians the father of the Khan is out mongolian, not the pure mongolian one like me!

  • what does khan mean ?

  • @iloveuTJ khan means king....

  • @iloveuTJ

i think it means clan leader, each leader of each mongol clan on the stepps was called a Khan

  • it's only like seven minutes into the film but i'm lovin it so far

  • Magnificent!

  • Comment removed

  • damn nooo!!! why do u have to kill the servant???

  • YES THEY ARE LOLLLLLLLLLL

  • thay are cousins

  • To settle the confusion, Mongols and Turkic people are "cousins" they both come from the Nomadic tribes of the Altaic mountains in Central Asia/ North Asia.

However, they are not exactly the same. Please learn to differentiate.

  • that's true

  • they are turkishhh

  • @58oguzhan jho;

  • the mongols vs turks would be an awesome clash between two great empires. maybe i should throw in the roman empire!

  • Well The Turks and the Timurids did battle once. Ottoman Sultan Bayezid vs Timur when Timur attempted to invade Ankara.

  • mongolians are barbarians that's why the chinese empire builed the great wall to protect them selves from the north

  • Thai history is amazing!

  • mongolia wasnt even part of the eldest turkic empire (air turks)

  • this is mongolian history no turkish.

  • Turkic isn't the same as turkish. Turkic is a demonym for people in central Asia.

  • @Mgldulguun333 Mongolian history is Turkish history. The Mongols were Turks, as are the Kirgyz, Tatars, Huns, Kurds, Kazakhs, Buryats and Uyghurs.

  • @yerk3 mongolian history is turkish history? do not make me laugh...even you turkish are not really turkic.real turks are asians same as mongols. Turkish people are arab greek kurd, armenians who speak turkic influenced speakers.mongols and central asian turks all know that turkey is not turkic!!!!

  • @XOBOPXYH Aaaand you win the prize for completely missing the point. I was responding to people who were confusing Turkic (the ethnic group/language family) and Turkish (the modern nation located on the Anatolian peninsula and founded by Mustafa Kemal.)

  • @XOBOPXYH However, the Anatolian Turks do have Turkic roots, through the Seljuks, who were originally a Nomadic people from the Central Asian steppe, who were recruited as mecenaries by the Islamic caliphates to conquer the Byzantine provinces in Asia Minor, but established their own kingdom there in stead. They may have intermarried with the existing ethnic groups there, but they were originally from the steppe.

  • This isn't Turkish smart one, it's Mongolian. Get a map will you?

  • @TheAntiochus Amina koyim sen göktürkleri neydersun map'ini götüne sok !

Google translater : What's the Göktürks ?! put your map in your ass !

  • @TheAntiochus Maps don't show where people came from, only where arbitrary national boundaries were established, many of them no more than 100 years old, some were established no more than a couple of decades ago. The modern nation of Turkey is just the Western tip of the lands inhabited by the Turkic peoples. Even the Seljuks, who established the Turkish presence in Anatolia, originally migrated from Central Asia.

  • @TheAntiochus Mongols are related not to turks of turkey but their ansentors who are turkic

  • The child actor could have done better pretending to be scared of the thunder, but besides that he's brilliant!

  • lol. It doesn't matter whether Gengkhis was Asian or not. He's dead. lololol.

  • it is soo different from history ohhhhhhhhhhh

  • guys dont be stupid, Genghis khan is a Mongol. He started out from the Mongol plains so he is definitely Asian. You cannot find his body coz if you know Mongol customs, they feed the body to the "Sky Father", leaving it in the mountains for scavengers to feed. So there is no grave. Stop arguing about the race of Genghis khan, he is a great leader of man so dont tarnish his name.
