i was on call to day and i heard a cop saying i dont know why fire fighters get liked more thin us and at the time i was changing and i did not get time to do my shirt so i walked aroned with a shirt saying "if u cant stand the heat become a cop" and i think it is true

they are flame and heat suits treffers91 they allow the wearer to be exposed to extreame temps and some direct flame u will find them at local oil and feul depots, its more for industral firefighting, hotjaffa08 hope that helps

Hats off to firefighters all over the world, my coutch is one too and he was telling me about some horibile stories and situations he experianced.Five milion tumbs up for them,But zilion tumb down for stupid people who build wooden houses.I just don't understand,have they ever tought about the risk of having 110v built in the cartboard walls??? Insaine!!!Just remember the old American plains in the late 80's - simple cable faliours ended tragicly.

Luckily, people have put a thought into this subject, especially after the 7o's. Allot of new wood based dwellings are checked by fire marshals for fire hazards before anyone is allowed to move in. Even paints are made to try and prevent fires. Some construction designs were even "trashed" because of how easily they can collapse under the stress of a fire. But not all of this is full proof, and that is, of course, why we still have Firefighters.
