The politicians only took him seriously when he drew interests from their own audiences. I think they discussed that in Hardball or whatever program on CNN.

hes a hilarious guy, started with stand up and what not, but throughout the years on the daily show and being on programs like this....we truly are able to see he is one smart guy. hes an excellent speaker and truly intelligent. not afraid to say whatever he feels. gotta love it.
