  • dont worry about those ignorant fools bring you down

  • Part of being a good parent is having a thick skin. That was what I got by working and going to school before I had a child. My husband and I where together five years before starting a family. I can tell your children are still young. As the age the challenges you face as a parent will get more complicated. That thick skin will come in handy.

  • i feel that is what women is called to do too. when a woman goes out and works she finds herself doing 2 jobs. working and then taking care of the family and her husband "needs". this is very draining and often times affect the marriage & the children

  • I love you. I think I'll subscribe.

  • You realise that you live in America right? Unless your husband is really well-off, I suggest you give up being homemaker.

  • @Mira20Mira she lives in norway.

  • Love, love, love this video! Great job!!

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO GOD BLESS!!

  • Its an interesting testimony in one so young how you wanted to be a homemaker at that age!

  • I have 10 children and I have loved living my life with NO regrets. It's not an easy path but well worth it. My story is soooo much like yours.... Go for it girl! Margaret

  • Wow, that's so nice. In a nutshell that means that ur life isn't worth anything, because if you wouldn't be alive, some other woman could care for your husband, right? I mean, the sense of every woman's life is to serve her husband, and if women would all be raised to servants of theyr husband, they would be replacabel. Wow, life would be so easy, don't you think? Enjoy the fact that your life doesn't mean anything.

  • Sweet, I want to be a wife and a mother as well, but you're insanely misguided.

You say "kids don't want big fancy toys", I have to disagree. They do, and people have to choose between spending 24/7 with their kids and not being able to provide everything they want for their children, or spending less time but being able to provide more.

  • the parents cant help they miss these things they have jobs.. to pay for these kids to have a good life

  • Positively terrified that there's someone like you out there trying to give advice to impressionable young women. Just because your brain has been washed clean of any sense, doesn't mean that other women should follow your example.

Gods, please save us from your followers...

  • @LadieWinter - Couldn't have said it better!

  • ...why exactly is she (the oh so godly wife and mother) restricted to do this from home and can not go into the workplace?!

  • what i don't get with all the super christian /quiverfull /whatever it may be called people: all those women blog, vlog, write, a lot of them do entrepeneurial stuff as they say themselves.

this takes up time, right? time that you can't dedicate to kids and household. almost as if you were working...oh wait, you are.. in a way . (paid or not, it's work to blog etc., I think most would agree).

  • this video makes me so happy to be going to college in nine or so months and so happy to have plans for a life beyond a husband for myself. I hope I never end up like you.

  • good video;)

  • @HomemakerByChoice i never said that you didn't finish the school year i said that you didn't finish SCHOOL. which i'm assuming you didn't because i'm not aware of any BA program that gives out diplomas after one year. if you'd finished, i'm assuming that you wouldn't have "tried out" another school closer to home. but "that didn't work out".

  • I agree that not everyone should go to college – that there’s too much of a push for that, with an related de-emphasis on other choices.

But I think you’re still too green to be giving life advice. Come back in 20 years and tell us how your life worked out.

  • @MaskedLosah Who is too green? Certainly not the young lady who is talking on this video!!!! I am a 35 year old man still waiting on the Lord for my Help Meet. I have wanted one for many years, but Gods timing wasn't right. However Amber is speaking the truth from a sincere Christian heart. I was so struck by what she says... and have looked at some of her other videos. Its a credit to her that she honors her parents and God so much. My girl, keep up the good work. The Lord is pleased with you

  • @whitebusfamily well maybe you should stop waiting and start acting like a 35 yr old guy. looking for a wife with equal rights not "waiting" for a help-meet. i bet there are women out there still single in close age. i would just guess most of them dont consider themselves help-maids...

  • @MaskedLosah I disagree with alot of what she says, however discrediting her based on her age only is kind of shallow. especially when there are so many other good reasons to discredit her.

  • Some people are intrested in education and dont want to be sideled with babies and a man so young! Marry in haste repent at leisure!

  • I absolutely love you sis! What an encouragement ^_^ I was very blessed by this video

  • @maidservantofJesus Yes! I was blessed too. Such awesome advice from a real person... not from these silly worldly idiots who spout off stuff yet their own lives are a mess. Amber obviously lives what she preaches. You can see it in her eyes. I was encouraged in my own life. And I look forward to the day (in Gods own time) when I my dream comes true.

  • I applaud your determination in going through with your beliefs even if they, obviously, clash with the mainstream.

  • Bless you dear sister. This is so refreshing. God bless.
