I think its not just size but over all riding style strength and endurance. If you can muscle around that bike and are smaller youl definatly have an advantage hes perfect height it looks like, im 5.6 and its a bit hard but i have no problem standing at all its just strength in my opinion and hes gotta be atleast 5.8 i unno how tall haha. Reason he crashes is most likely different style. Iv been told i have great body position but i crash alot even when i was on 85's just last month.

i agree with monsterDGAF but i think being a bit smaller help you and is easier for you to stand up. cause im like 6 foot and standing up is a pain but also i find i have more control when sitting down.

all you guys are dumb the 250 and 450 are physically the same size just weight and engine size are different

i can personally tell you that the 250 and 450 bikes are not the same they are actually totally different in the way they ride and the power and the ability to ride a 250 is so much easier than a 450.

Is it just me, or does Villopoto look really small on the 450. I think that that is the biggest problem for a lot of guys in the SX class. They can't stay up when they get out of control. I think that that's the reason that you hardly ever see a guy like Kevin Windham on the ground. He's able to put his feet down because he's such a tall guy. Villopoto on the other hand doesn't look to be in control as much, and I feel that is why you see him crash a lot more. He's still a good rider.

but remember him and his trainer made him more stockier to control the bike. look at an 08 video of him on the lites bike, and look at him at the 09 MX Glen Helen Race. way thicker; just pointing it out!

@MonsterDGAF if you look at the majority of the racers at supercross like in the pits there almost all like 5'6-5'9. With the exception of like Kevin Windham and Davi Millsaps. Ricky Carmichael is like 5'3 and had to cut almost all of his seat foam out and his bars were literally straight out on both sides. But on the other hand Travis dominated and he is 6'2... Either way Villopoto is kicking ass this year
