Having never had the pleasure to fire one of these beasts, I have a quick question. A friend of mine was saying something about one of his buddies in the military trying to shoot one of these. He mentioned that the recoil knocked him on his ass after a couple shots. Is the recoil that bad if you hold the gun to your shoulder? I noticed you were shooting from the hip so it was closer to your center of gravity

Sounds more like 450 rpm. The Canadian version has an adjustable gas regulator for between 400-1200 rpm. I've esp. seen armored recce use these on the range set for a high rate.
