  • What sickens me is that there are two different animated movies that make light of this; one with a rapping dog and a "happily ever after" ending for the couple that meet on it despite all the death in the background, and one with a giant octopus who tosses an iceberg into the path of the Titanic because a gang of mobster sharks dared him to do it because some businessman asked them to sink the ship over some whaling dispute.

And by the way, they ARE intended for children.

  • Titanic 14/15 Aprile 1912 : morti 1523 passeggeri su 2223

Costa Concordia, Isola del Giglio 13/14 Gennaio 2012: 17 morti su 4229 passeggeri.

Il tutto quasi 100 anni dopo.

  • Newsreel footage starts at 2:43

    You're welcome

  • yeah, could do without this Hollywood like enya music nonsense.

  • Why is the music lower class Irish?

  • it was NOT an accident watch this....wwww.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=suL7Q053SPE

  • hey could of saved alot more with the life boats.. they all could hold 70 people but 1st class didnt want to share with comaners (poor 2nd and 3rd class people) and kept it at 20

  • ahi que triste :(

  • @baguitapauli si, lo es pero quien se iba a imajinar que el poderoso titanic que llebo años y años de costriccion aal igual que millones y millones de euros iba a ser derrotado en su primer y unico biaje

  • if i had a gazillion american dollars, i'd recover that wreck, put it together, and make it a museum/attraction in New York City. It's such a waste having that ship rot in the abyss...

by the way, who owns that ship anyway? who ever found it? or the original owner/builder?

CLICK IF U WANT THAT SHIP RESTORED!

  • @1818JoseRizal1898 I think it would fall to pieces on the raising. That's at a hell of a depth. It's a graveyard too. It'd be a shame to disturb a graveyard. Leave it be I think.

  • @Maryonpark You're right! Somebody said that the ship would fall apart. But considering it's made out of steel, it should be able to withstand the effort. Good point about it being a grave site. However, if I were a familly member, I'd be thankful if I were able to visit the ship in person. From a tourist point-of-view, this is a perfect venue for Ghost Hunters...Zack the muscle show-off, gay, vain, self-absorbed hunter of Ghost Adventures would have a field day investigating this ship :)

  • now, 2012, 3d version

  • poor us

  • what a tragedy... poor ULTRA RICH people...

  • @lettheonerightin still a tragedy none the less. These Ultra rich people you mock probably employed many many people who were very grateful of the work they gave them. How they enjoyed their wealth is none of our business.

  • We click on my channel to see it and strikes and videos

  • my wish since I first saw that film has to dive to Titanic to see it!

  • i dont know why but i wish i was there..

  • @thegreeneyes01 me to

  • I'M THE KING OF THE WORLD!!!

  • im cry!! :'(

  • @bardhollarianxhelita im Peter.

  • The titanic it is the tragic story which made it cry more for one!!!

  • why does old footage always look sped up?

  • @ATY9Productions I thinks its because modern film cameras and video use a different frame rate to the one the original film was shot it.

  • @Tiger20001 Yes. The cameras of that period ran a 16 fps and modern film runs at 24 fps to everything is 50% faster when it is shown on modern projectors.

  • @ATY9Productions because the cameras had a lever and the person who films was spinning to fast and thats why it looks sped up.

  • dam those half witted captains :/

  • reported for misleading title....hahaha im an asshole

  • looks nice, where can i get tickets?

  • awesome photos...

  • this is not footage

  • AWWWWWw :'( :(

  • This was well put together. Can't wait to watch Titanic 3D this April =)

  • Video does not equal Photographs and illustrations. Just saying.

  • This song is so Beautiful.

  • I really like the music to this video but also try watching this while listening to Michael Nyman's "The Heart Asks Pleasure First." It is also moving and fits this wonderful compilation perfectly.

  • @cbcrb2005 only the second. But yes, sad

  • the movie titanic is a beautiful movie. James Cameron made a great movie about how strong love can be. I always cry because its such a sad story

  • @Chookala101 Im a guy and even the Titanic movie made ME feel emotional.

Too bad they made a sequel called Titanic 2.

I haven't seen it and I don't even want too because the story is probably made when the guy who wrote it was very drunk....or on drugs

  • Nek minnit...

  • I bet it was stunning in real life.

  • 3:09 was that Stalin?????

  • وقتها ما كان فيه ساهر

translation: ''no speed cameras were there".

only ppl in saudi arabia will understand what i mean ;)

  • Started crying at 0:58. Titanic is my weak spot.

  • how did I get here from tsar bombs?

  • @TheAwesomevideos123 I was looking at Tsar bombs the other day, wondering how I got there too!

  • @TheAwesomevideos123 Hell, How did I get hear from The Invention of the internet and Lizard men? lol

  • @TheAwesomevideos123 yeah.. and how did i get here from killing floor!?!?

  • this is so touching even though alot of those are paintings but its sad nonetheless /:

  • sad...

  • I BET THE CAPTON WAS NOT THE FIRST ONE OFF THE SHIP LIKE THAT CORIBIAN CRUSELINER THAT SUNK THE OTHER DAY

  • @edfoefoe he died with the ship

  • thanks thats great the real people of

    Titanic

  • So where's the video, All I saw was still photos. What a jip.

  • If not for the Titanic sinking, The opening of Fenway Park would have been the top story.

  • My great grandma passed away on this AMAZING BEAUTY! She was forced by her husband to have the joy of their lives which turned to worse. My grandmother forgave my grandpa as they passed away together.L0VE YOU GRANDMA!!!!RIP

  • I lost half of my family line on the Titanik...my grand grandmother barely survived thankes to the ship's waiter....and my grand grandfather 3 years later...

  • why is titanic so famous?

  • @purefatdude2 Because of all the people who died from it.

  • @purefatdude2 because important persons died in that titanic, from wealthy businessman to cave miners

  • @purefatdude2 Because its about the RICH

  • @purefatdude2 It was the biggest ship in the world on its maiden voyage and it was supposed to be unsinkable.

  • calem a boca é verdade seus boca mucha

  • Why do people like this video? This is not "video footage", it's stills set to music.

  • like wow!

    its wow!!!!

  • did anyone notice? last scene of leo dicaprio in 'Titanic', he was shown going inside the sea(not dead). opening scene of 'Inception', leo dicaprio shown thrown on the beach by the sea. no relation between two movies but still interesting if u see it that way (-;

  • better in 3D

  • "Video footage"..? Liar

  • titanic 1912

    costa concordia 2012

    100 years later

    :o

  • 2:16 how did they make that picture? Did somebody had a Iphone with them? lol

  • Why lie ? These are stills of the Titanic and its passengers. The only video is of a crowd watching something, and there is no proof that the clip is of those watching the Titanic! Its pathetic when people upload material with misleading titles to cheat people into opening them. You tube should check this problem.

  • JustARandomPerson21: The sting would of sunk and he's a good swimmer

  • So, where is that original video footage

  • 9/11 titanic japans stunami worst events

  • 100 years ago this year

  • In the movie, towards the end, she is floating on a giant board (or whatever) and she's like, "I'll never let go!" ... Did she ever think of pulling him on?! Either way, the movie is still sad :I

  • @JustARandomPerson21 he had enough strength to pull himself on, but when he tried he realized it couldnt support both of them. so he stayed in the water so she could have a chance to live

  • Blk and white makes everything more dramatic.

  • @Chrome57flytha2nd so does music..

  • @Chrome57flytha2nd But then that illusion gets destroyed by colourful Ad banners on the bottom.

  • Best Film EVER !!!

  • oh no that song no, y dont know why, each time a listen it, i start to think in many things, i remember the movie, I start to cry, and obviously i saw the pictures, and i....

  • Good historical pics/video -- except for the chessy love pics from the movie. Should have shown stills from the the 1953 or 1958 movies..at least they were a bit more realistic.

  • This is NOT "video footage". It's a damn slide show...

  • wow.. that's like 100 years ago...

  • i wouldnt mind going back in time and being on the Titanic

  • @vitalyism That's pretty stupid considering what happened on its first voyage...

  • Fake...lol..

  • IM CRYING NOW

  • did this happend for real or it was just a movie they make because this is really sad

  • Comment removed

  • @norbelispurplediva 'Titanic' is re-story what is happen in the real Titanic accident . its a true story

  • @norbelispurplediva - You've never heard of the Titanic? Sank in 1912 on it's maiden voyage? Owned by the White Star Line... not just a sad movie. An unfortunate reality

  • This melody make me cry ever and ever ='')

  • very nice love story..

    jack and rose love together..

  • its sad that all those people died i hope they rest in peace and it was such a beautiful boat as well

  • footage begins at 2:44

  • I doubt it even hit an iceburg.

  • sana maka punta ako sa time na yan!

Translation: i hope i was in that time!!!!

  • Some of pictures aren't from 1912 but from Cameron's movie!

  • @tomek002252 1:16 for example

  • I heard that they locked the doors to the rooms at the bottom of the boat so they only had to rescue the other people!!

  • Wow the photos of the titanic sinking!! This truly was the most tragic event

  • @SunsetTV100 Drawings, you wanted to say. These people who saw the sinking ship were rather very busy trying to save their lives. Carpathia crew was also busy to rescue the survivors. They rather have no time to use the newest Nikon camera to take the picture...

  • Whats this music called? Amazing video(:

  • I really cant stand the James Horner music on every video.

  • This is the sweet music...

Horner´s music is sweet (braveheart, willow).

    James Horner is the titanic.

Well...Hans Zimmer is the gladiator hahaha

  • In 1900's if he or she had $600 you were considered rich by government

  • I bust guns and i'm a complete thug that wears baggy cloths, over-sized hoodies, skii-masks and cotton gloves in the summer time, huge boots and a mean face....

But i cried so hard during this movie.

  • Did you know that no-one was allowed on board Titanic at Southampton to take photographs while she was docked there for over a week during Easter? All the photo's were taken in Belfast before and during her trial and voyage to Southampton. Some of those photo's are of Olympic because no-one bothered to get a photo of Titanic's bridge. What a shame. Great video to watch though

  • this song allways gives me the Chills! (without celine dion that is)

  • Titanic ships better than the ship that crashed few weeks ago... And titanic was made centuries ago

  • @british123able

    I mean the music?

  • you know what makes me agry they shsow only rich people who survived or died

  • @MrStoeipoes Why get mad at them?? because they're rich? Don't get mad at just the rich people fool. Camera's could only be afford by the rich back then. It was like having a Ferrari, only wealthy people could own them. So no, clearly and obviously poor people would not have had their photo taken because they didn't have a camera..

  • @JKalama25799752 yea maybe you're right but they saved the richer people first that's fucked like they have more rights in this live

  • @MrStoeipoes - Well they do. They are the people that run huge organizations that employee small time rat fucks like you. :-D

Don't get mad. Just say thanks that someone actually explained to you out of your ignorant thought process.

    Now go sweep my house.

  • @MrStoeipoes let me know if im wrong, but was it that many poor people on Titanic? as someone wrote there was not many poor people in thaat time that wasted their money on a picture of them. but its really horrible what happend, if they only hade more lifeboats:(

  • 100years ago rip all people who died

  • that was such a beautiful ship! my grandma was on the andrea doria, not a tragedy like this, but there were lost 47 lives..

  • something doesn't seem right on how Joseph bruce ismay's picture came first for the people who survived and thomas anndrews name came first for the people who perished

  • I dont get how it splits in two

  • @supersuper1209 the weight of the water lifted up the rear that made the top section separt then it went into a slight v shape that is thought to crushed the top after, the bottom bent and failed, the rear went up again this time steeply and soon after sliped throuh the waves

  • Far too many images / movies of the RMS Titantic are actually the RMS Olympic, sister ship to the Titanic and the first built of the two, maiden voyage of the Olympic to NY 1911, even if with a string of bad luck the Olympic's career still lasted some 25 years, operating both as a cruiseship and trans-Atlantic troop carrier 1914/18.

  • We will never forget you even when you were sailing though out the seas. :'(

  • QUE TRISTEZA

  • that its a depressing

  • i mean little nicer! srry

  • me gusta ver videos del titanic por su verdadero hundimiento

  • Had to mute the sound as it makes me teary :P

  • i love u rose! <3

  • Damn white people building things without Mexicans -__- SMH

  • @british123able The Titanic was designed and built in Belfast, it was indeed owned by White Star Liners and it's home berth was In England but it was an Irish Ship, what your saying is like saying The QE2 was an English ship when it was built on the Clyde, and this year markes a century of one of the biggest and most famous disasters in history, R.I.P Titanic...

  • cause like they has time to video the sinking of titanic LOL FUNNNNNYYYY.

  • Dude u just copied that other guys video. Dick

  • my great, great grandfather was born on April,12,1882,and for his birthday my great, great, great grandfather\mother bought him a 3rd class ticket on the titanic to be with his pregnant girlfriend in America. But he never made it,on the same date as his birth date he lost his life to the freezing waters of the Atlantic.4 months later my great, grand father was born on August,12,1912.then my grandmother born January,12,1956,then MY mother born Mach,12,1972.Then me,i was born April,12,1992 !!! • Comment removed

  • @terriparker100 No. This person says their relative died on the Titanic on his birthday and the ship didn't hit until April 14th, 1912 and it sunk on April 15th, 1912...This person should learn the facts about their own relatives and should know easy facts about the Titanic...

  • @terriparker100 Hace 100 años 1600 almas quedaron en el Atlantico norte, valga recordarlos con el costa Concordia. Podran pàsar los siglos pero esas almas estaran siempre en nuestro recuerdo.
