You do realise that Mac OSX is at the core (Darwin) derived from BSD Unix among other sources. I'd argue that an Unix based OS with a kernel written for a specific set of hardware would be the most stable of all. Especially considering as linux distrubutions are becoming more user friendly and widespread. People are using them without proper knowledge of administrating a linux system, which can cause stability and security issues.

applications > Add/Remove > type in compiz (all available apps). There you go. Should say "Advanced Desktop Effects" blah blah blah. bingo.

How did you get the minimize effect on your stacks? Do I have to configure combiz?

and just install ubuntu for free if you have a pc!

@syahidz orrr you can spend half wat a MAC costs, make a Hackintosh and even dual or triple boot with Ubuntu\Win.
