history has proven that without money we cant survive and its going to be worse.Communists proved that marxsism and communism wont work. The only lesson we learn of our history is that we never learn of our history and that is so true.Quit complaining and learn some financial education dont be so greedy, you want to do smth do smth dont complain all the time.Monetary system is not ideal put its the best we have and it hasnt failed like the others.
@boy577 history hasnt proven that without money we cant survive - money started 9-10 thousand years ago with the advent of cites based around agriculture - we survived 190 thoudand years before that
@Pfsif You joking? He's given tens of billions to charity, lives in a house he bought for $30k in the 1950's and is giving away 99% of his fortune to charity after he dies. He also supports higher taxes on the super rich and closing loopholes to avoid taxes if very rich. She may dislike him personally, but his legacy will help millions around the world, more than that hippy painting wood.
@Number69 Were is all this "charity" money being given to the poor? Millionaire charity is a fraud, it's one Foundation giving to another Foundation so they don't have to pay tax. Buffet doesn't complain when Democrats raise taxes on the poor and middle class. Why don't these Philanthropist just pay their employees better or manufacture their product in the US in stead of sweat shops oversees? I bet you that not 1 penny goes to true charity.
OK, money might fund our great technological achievements...but if there was no money at all, the engineers, researchers, scientists, etc. would still exist and still have the knowledge and skills that really allow them to create in the first place. In a monetary system, it only looks like money is allowing these things to take place. In fact, without money we may actually achieve more because those who can't get funding would be able to move forward with their projects.
@OutsideTheBox28 I'm an engineer and I know this to be true. One major issue however is resources - technology and "engineering" will look much different without money, no computers, no internet, etc...but we would survive and thrive just fine.

If you earn $1,000,000.00, the government will take about $400,000.00 in taxes. Leaving you with $600,000.00.
If you die and leave that money to your offspring, they will get $290,000.00 after taxes.
Thus the government has taken over 70% of the initial $1,000,000.00!
And yet the government and its lackys, like Robert Reich, cry foul.
The real enemy: The U.S. Government.
