it's funny how many professional magicians for example chris brown do all these moves with their hands to make the trick look more dramatic and professional.

notice how in 0:11 in this video he does something weird with his right hand and also in chris brown's video he does weird hand moves.

The 'Venus Trap' is George Warren Pughe's Card Control. Orbitbrown should stop renaming old effects and claiming he invented them. It can be found in the March, 1949 issue of Linking Ring on page 58. When I tried to point this out on his video, he blocked me from commenting.

Awesome card control, though as a pessimistic person i figured out this trick .

Watch 0:19 to 0:21, you will see that the upper card is taken and placed on the other

deck, you cannot see this because the hand is blocking the vieuw.

@JochemsKristian plus he transfers the card so quickly that it almost looks natural. Amazing job. You don't find many card magicians who perform sleight of hands so smoothly because of all the card trick reveals. Though I think that revealing some of the more amateur card tricks to the public for free is good since it can motivate people into learning more advanced stuff.
