This was one leg of a 26 mile paddle I did on Wednesday 6/24/2009. I started on the Boquet River in Willsboro, paddled down to the mouth of the river (Boquet Pt) on Lake Champlain. From there, I paddled the long open-water stretch to the Four Brothers Islands - a protected bird nesting area - where you cannot exit your boat or land onshore, so it is hours and hours in the cockpit. From these islands i went into Willsboro Bay, then the long downwind slog back to the river, and upstream to my car.
