@NecroVMX Guardian Heroes for GBA is my all time favorite game. I like beat'em ups and shooters, and this game has a nice blend of 90's arcade with the depth of a fight engine not found elsewhere. Not saying your opinion is wrong for you. Just saying I agree with the guy you told, he was wrong.
Get up to Stage 3-16 (the place where you only encounter 2 knights on a long metal bridge) And keep fighting the 2 knights, but staying at the left screen. Get any EXP Crystal they drop, and go back to the left agian. You can get up to 99999 quickly

I like how the Trainer reveals how little we know when first playing. 19 playable characters in Story mode...This is my all-time fav game. The ultimate way to play this is on Hard mode with Gingiro. Once you collect all the guys, you just play this game in Training mode with Random Enemies, it is infinite replay LOL!

My Favorite character in Story Mode on Hard, is Ginjiro the ninja guy. The game is extra hard with him but doable. However, some characters are too hard to play as, like the little slow Wizard, I could only get to the Elevator stage and that is where I got stuck. 3 little wizards and Super Zur vs 1 little Wizard. and if they didn't kill me, the two cyclopes right after them did .. it was just too much for me.
I urge you to please re-review this game, but this time, do it privately and take the time to read the small tutorials, at around 1.00 - 1.10, you said 'WTF is going on...?', you'd would actually learn seceonds later if you weren't so impatient,
This is a great game and you'll see that if you give this a decent review, at 2.15, that screen is basicall where you assign skill points to your character if you pcked up the crystals from those you defeated...

19 playable characters! this game is awesome! Classic Beat'em up action like Double Dragon and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Replay value is excellent. Training mode with random foes is the best! I agree though about the story. Less story more game
You should have read what the enemies say in the begining they teach you how to do spells(R+B,Enn has the best spells in my opinion) and how to counter(R just before an enemie hits)

This looks slower than I remembered. Still, the tutorial part of the game in the beginning really annoys me..
It gets better from there, but like many said, it doesn't make justice to the Saturn masterpiece.

It is a great game, although I wish it wasn't a 3D brawler, but how it should have paid homage to the Saturn version with just having three lanes.
Although I LOVE the battle aspect of it.
