I definitely used the Bi stepping stone as well, but I didn't know what else to do. A friend asked me in the middle of the lunch area if I was gay, and I freaked and said I was Bisexual. I was in the 10th grade and just didn't understand. But that didn't last for very long, and eventually I was out. I wont say any of it was easy, at least not at first, but it is me.
I would like to know how you coped at the start. If there was anyone you looked up to, or a certain way you got through it.
