Do you know when I was a child I was scared of the animations because they were so roughly drawn they looked like nightmare characters, I found them grim. I do not find them scary now, I still find them grim but not scary.

@Floobegusted that's probably because Terry Gilliam is a very strange guy with a bizarre, grim, deeply dark & twisted sense of humor. I saw some of his movies as a kid (Time Bandits, Brazil, Baron Von Munchaswhatsin) and they are TERRIFYING to a child...even Time Bandits that was meant for kids had this horrible, unhappy ending, I remember almost crying. LOL.

And even though it was animated, Gilliams cartoons for MP were NOT meant for kids at all!
