Can anyone gimme an acceptable explanation as to how this gem of a hard rock song (and album and band for that matter) essentially slipped through the net/under the radar of global domination whilst ACDC (not bad but not nearly of the same musicianship quality) went to superstardom?
@leighroy1973 Amen - but has anyone EVER heard "Run For the Shelter" on the radio? Even back in the day I never heard it - its one of the baddest songs ever! There's not even a single post of it to be found anywhere on YouTube -
I love the angles,i went to see rose tattoo one night and the angels were back up.Rose tattoo came out first because angry anderson was so pissed. They sounded crap. The angels came out and kicked their arse.
Doc Neeson was underrated in his time. The media were too obsessed with Jimmy Barnes and John Farnham etc. But Neeson, what a showman! Theatrical brilliance.
Nah - way different to mr damage - (But similar tone i know what ya mean). But yeah - brutal - this was 81 - 27 fuckin years agoand its STILL heavy! God these guys kicked fuckin ass!
Miss My Old Cassete Tape Of Two Minute Warning.Burnt Up In A Car Fire Cant Find It AnywhereIn The States. Thanks For Posting This!!! Still Lookin Though....
Damn right - Two minute warning was a monster - why the hell its not a staple in every rock fans library I'll never understand. These guys were THE SHIT! - best live band ever bar none!

Do they ever pop up on US radio or Music Videos thesedays?
In Australia they still get good FM rotation and of course YouTube has been great for the fans everywhere.

Not in the U.S.
pretty much all but forgotten here except by their fans over here.
When I lived on the Goldcoast a few yeas ago it was awesome to walk into a tavern or pub and hear them being played.
I even heard them on trple m and trple j too!

Is this a second interview?
I listened to the first one several years ago when he was debuting the Red Pheonix project.
It was really great to listen to.
They played the Angels version of Morning Train on that one and it was fantastic.
Thanks for the heads up on this.

Just a brutal song, maybe a little of a rewrite of Mr Damage for the US market? where under Angel City name Mr Damage was never released.
Two Minute Warning -very, very under rated but not by the true fans. It had a metallic finish that made it too heavy for radio but great live.

'2 Minute Warning' is so not talked about, heaps of good riffs and cool vocal lines with an urgent vibe.

Rick Brewster-guitar legend. Two Minute warning was the best guitar album the Angels ever released. Just love it.
