@xxxtobyx3 I'm also Canadian! I was raised surrounded by Icelandic culture, and became interested in the history of the vikings, explorers and the Asatru faith! My grandmother brings us to Icelandic holiday celebrations and she would bake Vinatarta. (yuck!)

BUT... my mom was adopted so I am not Icelandic by blood. Everyone in my family has been there, and I feel connected to the culture, even though by blood I am not Icelandic at all.

This song is Ormurin Langi (the long serpent)

Its a old traditional faroese song, and its mostly about the viking wars between norway vs sweden and denmark.

Ormurin Langi is: Ormurin = The Snake/The serpent. Langi = long.

2) "tyr" is a icelandic singer, while "týr" is a totally awsome faroese viking metal band.

3) people who wright "týr" like "tyr" are the people who don't know how to type "ý".
