But as he aged, like all guitarists, he got put of speed considerablly and has been focusing mainly on things like his tone, effects, soul, emotion, etc. He had all that here people. You just heard him use small pieces of it. But he's been becoming even more of what he's said to not be than he was bacl then. So leave him be. There's more emotion in speed playing than you'd think.

What is it you enjoy about hiring builds so fast that all you can hear is the strum? I was never interested in playing fast and I AM able to with the skills I developed so fast but I just don't find it anything worth practice : P.

Slow playing is beautiful, fast can be to but not to fast.
