When person is young, it is very hard to deal with all psychological stuff that surrounds stuttering. However, there is help available. A very decent therapy can be found on naturaltherapyforstuttering -c-o-m. Medicines seem to help some people too.
I do not stutter though I feel bad for these folks. He stutters (which is serious, and awful), but he also lives in the UK, which is worse than stuttering.
I feel so bad for Mudiyaga that always says sorry for hes studder.. In reality he have nothing to say sorry for, but I guess he feel he have to do it.
if i was mudiarga, even tho talkin is the best way to improve your speech, i woulda just put my wrist up and say "time" they are brave cuz i wouldnt do that!! and im a hardcore rapper! big ups to them for that!!
i have a stutter its as bad but i feel like cryin for these guys my life isnt as bad i thought it was everytime i stutter i feel like punching my self in da face
why hes not stutter when he sing cuz he already the lyrics, his brain already register those word. So to stop stuttering he need to think of what he will say in his head, go over the sentence also try to relax, relaxation is the key
At my job, I have a regular customer who has a stroke-induced stutter. I cost him a job as I lawyer as people doubted his ability to talk in court (people would be biased by his inability to get words out). Poor kids, guys, they'll have a ton of trouble getting jobs.
I also met a woman with a stutter at a concert I was working at. She tried to tell me her surname (she'd made a reservation), and I ended up having her write it down, poor soul.
We can help these people. This is new and very positive results. NOT an echo device, but a Natural Speech Therapy Tool called StutterFree It uses "Vocal Tone
If the girl, Joanne, didn't stutter, she would have herself a boyfriend when she goes to middle school pretty soon because she seems very nice and is very pretty.
What do you mean, IF she didn't stutter? If a boy really cares about a girl he should learn to support and deal with it. Anyone who turns their back on a relationship with a stuttering person is weak and heartless.
I'm nowhere near as bad as these guys but my stutter is still ruining my life, so I can't imagine their suffering. My main problem is having to say my name but there are plenty of words I have trouble with like: milk, eleven, numbers with 3 or more digits like 136 I sometimes find hard to say, up, signature, glee, and more. I also struggle when people ask questions that require a quick one word answer, like the price of something or the name of something etc. And I can't explain why!

Then we each had to do a public speech in an extremely busy area with no PA system just our voices only so that everyone may hear.
You are right, most find public speaking hard, but if you stutter! :(
Yeah, definitely extreme, but it could be a case where he's forced to show everyone that he's got a big stuttering problem and it'll be like a huge weight lifted from him.
After all, post people tend to hide it and arrange their life around the problem instead of confronting it head on.
@mailsexpress1001 one of the main problems is avoidance, try to get in a friendly work environment and talk to people openly about not only stuttering but other things. connect with them, explain you have a problem and if they're not ok with it, don't bother with those people. try to accomplish things that require speaking, and feel the sense of accomplishment when you get things done. do things your friends won't want to do, like calling to reserve a bowling time
@mailsexpress1001 avoiding words can be hazardous as well, don't stress about talking, and say what you want - while you avoid words, your speaking can get fluent otherwise but those certain words (in certain situations) can become an obstacle. a lot of speech therapists suggest you stop avoiding the problem and face it without caring - as you can see from this video, the guy went up to girls and talked, and stuttered less than he normally would.

It's a rough time, stuttering; I've done it since roughly when I was five, say my parents. I'm thankful it isn't so bad for me, though. I'm at the point where I can teach a kid's karate class with only minimal problems.

It's a rough time, stuttering; I've done it since roughly when I was five, say my parents. I'm thankful it isn't so bad for me, though. I'm at the point where I can teach a kid's karate class with only minimal problems.
