  • I also have a slight stutter.. And i noticed that when i just speak randomly to people and i'm improvising the words, it almost doesn't show at all. But when i have to repeat something or read something loud, i stutter. And i wanna be an actress. That means i have to talk from a script. -.- but it's getting better:)

  • you guys have this problem, everyone has a problem, if you keep trying anything can be solved. so dont give up, easier said than done but this is a test, hard one but this test i believe will make you guys the one of the most respectable people on earth. my problem is me caring too much about other people that it hurts me so much, my heart hurts and it gets harder to breath knowing all i can do is just pray. but i hope my prayer is powerful enough to help, guys nothing is impossible, so hold on

  • @klaudxoxo how did you stop stuttering?

  • i have a stammer and the best way to deal with it is to SLOW down. i know you want to speak as fast as your freinds and other people, but if you take your time and speak at a slow pace you`ll be alot better

  • watching this video is no wonder that thousands of stutterers have committed suicide. Society in general sees stuttering as lepers, no one wants them anywhere. It is a great misfortune.

  • @brlaranjo hey :) i'm now 16 years old, thanks for asking. I was actually very nervous throughout filming lol. You need to be open though, otherwise no one will ever know how you're feeling. I don't really worry anymore. My confidence has skyrocketed as my stammer got better instead of worse. Thankfully mum was wrong. Ah my siblings dont bother me, they're lovely really. Thanks for asking and seeing me as an inspiration.

I wish you luck with your stammer and hope everything goes ok with you an

  • Hey joanne!! How old are you now?? You are one brave kid, I stutter and I am not as open as you. I was just concerned about how your mom said that it was getting worse. I think u shouldn't spend all your time worrying about times I can't control. Also it broke my heart when siblings were mocking you:( hope all is well

  • I suggest to you to learn sign language (what deaf people uses). This would o course not help you in the street or shop where most people does not know how to read sign language. But it would give you the possibility to speak fluently and speedy and uninterrupted to the people near to you (they you of course need to learn to read sign language. Just a suggestion. Good luck! Johan

  • Obama stutters.

  • Is there a difference between a stutter and stammer?

  • @Teasle586 Its the same thing. Stammer is mostly used in Europe while Stutter is used in N. America.

  • @Teasle586

    same meaning, just different word

  • When person is young, it is very hard to deal with all psychological stuff that surrounds stuttering. However, there is help available. A very decent therapy can be found on naturaltherapyforstuttering -c-o-m. Medicines seem to help some people too.

  • And in england you have to wait for health care : (

  • I do not stutter though I feel bad for these folks. He stutters (which is serious, and awful), but he also lives in the UK, which is worse than stuttering.

These people have it really rough : (

  • @maverick42a Dude, what do you mean living in the UK is worse than stuttering? It's not.

  • I stutter..and i cried

  • "Joann is slowly moving up the waiting list for speech therapy"....well that's a perfect example of the great British healthcare system for ya.

  • I feel so bad for Mudiyaga that always says sorry for hes studder.. In reality he have nothing to say sorry for, but I guess he feel he have to do it.

  • i used to stutter a lot but now i dont even stutter now, i feel sorry for those people what they have been trhough

  • go and ask that people who stutter, they knows how hard is it , and hows their life

  • I cant lie the first minute of this video did make me laugh, but i would never laugh or bully anyone with a stammer

  • Joanne is very pretty=)

  • if i was mudiarga, even tho talkin is the best way to improve your speech, i woulda just put my wrist up and say "time" they are brave cuz i wouldnt do that!! and im a hardcore rapper! big ups to them for that!!

  • It almost broke my heart "There will be real bullies there, won't there?"

  • i feel like crying for these people

  • mudiarga is such a nice guy,you can tell hes got a heart of gold

  • i have a stutter its as bad but i feel like cryin for these guys my life isnt as bad i thought it was everytime i stutter i feel like punching my self in da face

  • why hes not stutter when he sing cuz he already the lyrics, his brain already register those word. So to stop stuttering he need to think of what he will say in his head, go over the sentence also try to relax, relaxation is the key

  • @dattran16 ha wrong

  • At my job, I have a regular customer who has a stroke-induced stutter. I cost him a job as I lawyer as people doubted his ability to talk in court (people would be biased by his inability to get words out). Poor kids, guys, they'll have a ton of trouble getting jobs.

I also met a woman with a stutter at a concert I was working at. She tried to tell me her surname (she'd made a reservation), and I ended up having her write it down, poor soul.

  • We can help these people. This is new and very positive results. NOT an echo device, but a Natural Speech Therapy Tool called StutterFree It uses "Vocal Tone

    Technology" StutterFree

  • I want to help Mudiaga so badly. I can tell that he got much better. I want to be a speech therapist.

  • nice titties @ 4:57

  • If the girl, Joanne, didn't stutter, she would have herself a boyfriend when she goes to middle school pretty soon because she seems very nice and is very pretty.

  • @CACOtravnik

What do you mean, IF she didn't stutter? If a boy really cares about a girl he should learn to support and deal with it. Anyone who turns their back on a relationship with a stuttering person is weak and heartless.

  • that little girl is adorable . i like her accent

  • nathan mudiaga and the girl have more balls than anybody else on earth. i stammer, and i wouldve never done what mudiaga did :)

  • i stutter somtimes..

i only realy stuter when im at school and i have like a solo talk in english or sumthing like that? good vid send me a message so i kno im not alone!

  • I'm nowhere near as bad as these guys but my stutter is still ruining my life, so I can't imagine their suffering. My main problem is having to say my name but there are plenty of words I have trouble with like: milk, eleven, numbers with 3 or more digits like 136 I sometimes find hard to say, up, signature, glee, and more. I also struggle when people ask questions that require a quick one word answer, like the price of something or the name of something etc. And I can't explain why!

  • you are just making fun of me i stutter lots of times you dont know how it feels everybody says mean stuff about me

  • @klaudxoxo my stutter was never that bad like them but still i had a stutter but now my stutter has completely gone

  • well dude, imagine the pain that these guys go through every day

  • you're an asshole , you know that??

just thank god that you don't have this problem insted of making fun of people who have!!

  • hey, TheOmegaEffect, you are a fuckhead

  • i like madiaga

  • respect for that moodiaga dude... it would feels Soo bad if you stutter when girls are around that might like you.... you is a real hero!! he got balls

  • i used to stutter , it came and went away in 2 years its weird , i went through a speech therapy thing nothing helped but in a months time it slowly went away and now i give presentatios in front of 300 ppl. :)

  • lol nice.... i think the therapy did worked cuz you dont stutter anymore.. lucky you

  • It must be so frustrating, its very tempting to finish sentences but that only makes it worse, poor people, but postively it seems many are responsive to speech therapy when they are able to get it.

  • :( :(

  • i feel sorry for this guy when he wanted to talk to the police man, he gave him a weird look, wow man imagine if you were him and you have his stuttering...

wow man i'm feeling his feelings

  • the white kid is beyond courageous to try and be part of a play..however, I just feel that this is like an extreme step to take ya know? most people without speech problems get nervous in front of crowds..imagine having that pressure along with a speech impediment..it's just too much

  • I myself have a stutter and attended something called the McGuire program. I had to practice in front of the class by getting up in front them about 5 times after training myself on how to speak again in a different way over the course of 4 days with each training day going from 8am till 9pm.

Then we each had to do a public speech in an extremely busy area with no PA system just our voices only so that everyone may hear.

You are right, most find public speaking hard, but if you stutter! :(

  • Yeah, definitely extreme, but it could be a case where he's forced to show everyone that he's got a big stuttering problem and it'll be like a huge weight lifted from him.

After all, post people tend to hide it and arrange their life around the problem instead of confronting it head on.

  • i hate stuttering

  • thanks for uploading this, it's really interesting

  • i stutter and sometimes i feel like killing myself but i dont

its realy anoying i cnt talk to new people because i get nerves

  • How did you cure your speech? can you help me?

  • i can help you for free....i know how to overcome it...my frnd....

  • @90siddharth buddy ..tell me how to overcome this stuttering??i am 29..wish i wasnt born when i am in this problem

  • @mailsexpress1001 one of the main problems is avoidance, try to get in a friendly work environment and talk to people openly about not only stuttering but other things. connect with them, explain you have a problem and if they're not ok with it, don't bother with those people. try to accomplish things that require speaking, and feel the sense of accomplishment when you get things done. do things your friends won't want to do, like calling to reserve a bowling time

  • @mailsexpress1001 avoiding words can be hazardous as well, don't stress about talking, and say what you want - while you avoid words, your speaking can get fluent otherwise but those certain words (in certain situations) can become an obstacle. a lot of speech therapists suggest you stop avoiding the problem and face it without caring - as you can see from this video, the guy went up to girls and talked, and stuttered less than he normally would.

good luck and all the best for you :)

  • @mailsexpress1001 also, give me a private message if you want to discuss it further, I've tried to research this field as much as possible

  • @EUmkl ..Thanks for the messages.Seems you care about us.Its so lovely of you.atleast from these videos the world can know how we live and how much strain we live with when we have this problem? We can only feel the pain ,no one else can i am sure..I wish the celebrities had opened some instiutuion or a clinic something like that to cure the stammerers.I think someone has to come forward from the celebrities coz few of them had including Mr Bean and BRUCE WILLIS. . WTS UR MAIL ID eumkl?

  • i stutter and i hate it when ignorant ass holes make fun of my stuttering

  • me too i stutter and my daugther stutters :(.

  • you shouldn't be sad about it, as long as you are being the best person u can be and not letting ur stuttering get to you, why be sad or ashamed. That mother with that young girl breaks my heart

  • @brlaranjo My mother is an amazing person and has coped very well with my perdicament (Im Joanne). All of my familys support has helped me to get better and it makes me feel even happier that i have inspired many of you. Thanks! Hope the other two are getting on well as well.

P.S. I appreciate being called cute lol

  • yeah i used to be like that but these days i just think fuck it

  • The white guy has it the worst, hands down

  • dunno if thats a insult or not but cool lol

  • I'm studying to become a speech pathologist..and I have a communicative disorder as well!

  • Comment removed

  • no, I do not stutter but I'm a graduate student at nyu studying speech pathology (communicative disorders) which works with clients who do stutter.

  • i stutter a little and it annoys me DX i would hate to stutter like this

  • u know, i stutter but not as bad as that!!

  • these guys have more balls then most people i know

  • Thats true!

  • @DClean Dude, totally. And what I find absolutely AMAZING (Since I have a speech impediment myself, where some words starting with vowels won't come out) is that these guys don't bail on the sentence. These people don't let their impediments stop them from speaking. They persevere through the struggle. Which is absolutely incredible, because it can be so frustrating not being able to speak freely. Speech is truly a gift, and those of us with speech impediments WISH we could be free...

  • Im am so unlucky ,i do stammer but not that

    poor ppl ;(

  • lol

at 5 mins, most guys would be tripping on their tongues. Good for him to be able to chat them up. :D

    God bless them all.

  • I also stutter but only happens when to certain words like "attitude". I just think really qucikly of a word that has similar meaning to them to make the sentence sense( like behaviour) and too avoid people noticing.

  • the parents so stupid, you don't tell a kid that right in front of them. She can still be a teache or what ever she wants it's called teaches the kids about diffrences, just need to accept it. Doc. has so many things wrong with ti.

  • I know exactly how they feel, normal people have a single clue how it feels when we stutter. There is not one mourning when I wake up I don't secretly wish to lose a leg if I am able to speak like a regular person. It fuckin sucks, ppl have no idea

  • It's a rough time, stuttering; I've done it since roughly when I was five, say my parents. I'm thankful it isn't so bad for me, though. I'm at the point where I can teach a kid's karate class with only minimal problems.

  • I feel so bad for them =(

  • Very sorrey about your litle brother, i feel for you and your family

  • can you lay out the video about selective mutism.

kan du legge ut opptaket om selektiv mutisme
